Jerm---I asked Annick, the wife, if she wants to see the Spider. She says, not another knife. Annick looks at the Spider and says...I like that one. :)
Told her...it ain't done.

Mornin Playas, catching up

Guns, HOT Mommas & knives -

Having a little Gammel Dansk myself this morning - cheers Koug

Rolf - I saw a used Colt 6450 go for around $1K and new stockers can be had for $1100-1200

Also 9mm ammo is available around here - I bought some 2 weeks ago - SD ammo, not plinker

Check AR15.com exchange - some good deals from time to time

Does anyone use a DPMS AR? How come they are so much less exspensive?

My brother had a DPMS that I shot on occasion, it had the grittiest trigger I have ever felt, it was an awful pull. The collapsible stock rattled, hardly "tactical" IMO... Aside from that it was pretty accurate, sub moa at 50 yds. and it never jammed, unlike almost every other AR I have used.:D

Morning Folks

Thanks Greg. Out here you can get a quad railed, collapsible stock DPMS for $800-900. That is around half of the Daniel Defense or the new Ruger.

You said Ruger. Check out accuracy systems, I got my Mini 14 pimped by them. 2lb. trigger pull, 24in. .900" bull barrel and a full 1" at the chamber, muzzle brake, steel bedding, and new gas block. Shoots sub moa at 100 yds., 1/4" groups! One can be had comparably priced to an AR, and he has guns already built... just a thought.;)

Brian - How do you like the DD? I put their Omega rails on my Colts, and like the quality, but haven't seen their AR up close -
