How about a Camp knife challenge ?

John, you could do a sheath tutorial:)

Man, you are fast! I am still trying to decide if I like my design or not yet...

John, not to disagree with you, but you won't have the perfect camp knife done until you're finished work on mine. ;)

I got to thinking how a Camp knife challenge for all our resident knife makers might be interesting and fun !!!!

Confirmed entrants so far:

Koyote.
CKE2.
Patrickknives.
SDS.
Daniel Koster.
Magnussen.
Noshtero.
Fiddleback.
James_Terrio.
Stomper.
Raylaconico.
Bruce Culberson.
I was a little skeptical at first but now I'm excited to see the end results. This turned out to be a pretty bold contest. Good luck to all above.

I understand that a winner will be picked through a series of tests, but what about having a peoples choice award? Some cool freakin blade that couldn't get the crown based on performance, but shines in other areas.

I'm sure Brian will support me in saying if any of the makers wish to share WIP pics as mentioned should feel free to do so and keep this thread alive till the actual tests !!!

Too late for any WIP pics :o. How about a completed knife? ;)

Woohoo - that is an awesome knife. IMO, one of the best handles I've seen on your knives. I really like the dedicated position for the forefinger to help with grip. I also like the straight spine and those pins look super classy and gives the knife the quality that screams "use me".

Nice work!

Hey John what's happened to the other big one that you sent JoeZilla for testing?
I was really looking forward to that review but seem to have missed it ?????:(

Don`t know for sure. I talked to Joe last week and he was going to be sending it back.
