How did you justify your last knife?

Today I finally broke down and got the Endura 4 with ZDP steel. Its was justified for the following reasons:

1)I needed an equal number of Benchmades and Spydercos
2)It would my the first "premium" steel blade, and I need to know how good ZDP-189 is
3)Compared to some of the BF members, my collection is a mere blip on the radar
4)I have some money in my pocket
5)It's going be the LAST knife purchase, because I already have more than could possibly be used in a lifetime and it's enough already!

Actually, I only have 4 of what I consider to be good EDC knives. The total value of these is about $220. Some here would have no problem spending twice that on one knife, so thanks for easing my conscience. ;)

I justified it by telling myself that as long as I shop right, find a good deal and use the knife properly, than my $ will always be there if I for some reason need it in the future more than my knife. Makes it esp easy with Spydies because they eventually get discontinued and more desirable, making them even more valuable. Most times, Your ole lady cant say that about her shoes or clothes!

New job... New knife. That was 3 weeks ago, and I just ordered another one today... so I'm not really sure other than I wanted it.

"Honey, I waited nearly a year and half for the knife to be completed and all of that time we didn't pay a dime for it." :D

My last knife (a Boker Delta with a ceramic blade) can't possibly be justified by any means known to man, other than "it looks pretty and I wanted it."

My last two knives I bought was buying them back from the people I sold them to

(orange XM, and a large regular Damascus sebbie :D)

How did I justify it? Because I work, my kids all have everything they ever wanted and needed... My wife is very happy... And I just "wanted them!"

Will probably want more in the very near future... Umnumzaan.. Ranger greeen stonewashed CC SMF... Jens Anzo 67... Mayo... Burke... Lambert... Large Bark 21 with raindrop stainless Damascus :D

Everyday is Christmas :D

I justify nothing. If I want it, I get it - the end.:D

I'm going to have to adopt that philosophy-get what you want, and enjoy it with no guilt.

Now if I could get my hands on a KRISS Super V .45-cal submachine gun, I'd have everything!

I needed a new knife to EDC. My old EDC the BM griptilian falls into the lighter duty EDC category, so I went with a Manix 2 in order to get a heavier duty blade, (and buy my first Spydie)
