For work defense and utility i like my knife to be in the same place every time after decades of carrying fixed blades i just works best for me in every situationI haven't in a while, but I think I'd like to go back to this.

for me it will mean downgrading my fixed blade EDC size. I don't have one yet that I want to carry that way. Probably going to be something I make for myself in MagnaCut. But yes, it is very convenient for work and utility, though at the risk of getting PracTacky I will just say that I think defense is better suited with something on the hip so it can be deployed from bladed stance for counter ambush purposes. I think cross draw at the front like that makes it harder not to draw from the drop.

Somebody, send a boring t-shirt ^^^^

I have had great luck with Under Armour sleeveless compression shirts under a t-shirt or other garment. Work great for AIWB of a firearm or knife, and they have proven quite durable. Also, no sleeves to wrestle with under another shirt. (They fit close to the body, so you never grab the shirt when reaching for a pistol or knife.)I always have a very thin undershirt on so that a knife or gun doesn't rub and chafe my baby soft skin and ruin it. Also I'm Italian and sweat a lot so it definitely extends the life of my regular shirt or t-shirt. Shirts are expensive nowadays
Yep, I've been using the underarmor compression shirts for awhile. I just started getting some 32 degree undershirts that are great at wicking away moisture. I just get them a size smaller so they fit tighter and show off my sexy whisky belly.I have had great luck with Under Armour sleeveless compression shirts under a t-shirt or other garment. I bought six a few years ago and they've been terrific.
Have you ever thought about just being shorter? That would probably solve some of your garment woes.At six feet five inches I have such a hard time finding undershirts that will stay tucked in through a full range of movement…..
