How Good Is 1/16 O-1? Do you want to find out?

Glad you got it and hopefully it arrived safely. I look forward to hearing your and others thoughts on it.

I enjoyed my time with it.

got the knife today...:D
I'm betting that you have now been introduced to the true meaning of the word SHARP!:D

Thanks again Ken. I'm sure you'll be seeing it again along with several others of mine.

It de-skined, diced and de-grizzled a couple pounds of chicken since the last date with the hones. It should still be plenty sharp though. I wish I could better capture the patina at this point. The polished bevels even took a slight patina. It's pretty;)

I can't wit to see it. Thanks again.

it's safe as well, sorry, sick baby int eh house, not getting on the computer much at the moment,

can't wait to start using it for something, although that edge gives me pause, is it possible to cut yourself from just looking at a knife? I'm starting to think it might be :p

A sick baby in the house is never fun. I hope it is nothing serious.
Take care.

thanks, it's RSV, an infection that brings on flu like symptoms, she's had it before, it's not fun but she bounces back fast and now we know what o do my heart beats a little more easily :)

some pictures, if nothing else this passaround has convinced me I need a JK in ebony,

lefty model or not it fits my hand pretty well, :p and I like the sheath very well

Thanks for those pics. I now have a new desktop photo.:D

I used to be able to take decent photos and videos. Somehow I lost the ability/motivation to do it, I guess.

I don't know about that. I had your pic up there for a good while and watch your videos regularly.
Thank you for all you do.

Thanks Mack. Some day I may rekindle the love for making videos and pretty pictures. Life is keeping me a little too busy lately...but it's all good when guys send me knives to play with:)

OK guys, looking for some help. Trying to decide between this knife and the Kitchen Utility knife. Any input is appreciated - pros/cons of each.

My use would be general kitchen use, both home and in camp.

can't go wrong either way, I've never used a Kitchen utility so I can't compare, but I don't imagine you'll be disappointed either way, and that galley wag would make one heck of a choice.

Hopefully mqqn will pop in with an answer, he has both of those.

Thanks for the great pictures!

I'm especially glad to see the sheath. I thought maybe we carried it in our teeth or something when not in use.

Er, not that we don't.

I emailed mqqn, he will post his thoughts tonight, may even put in a comparison photo of the two. Just to muddy the waters a bit more, you might also consider the Ultralight Hunter. ;)

I'm not sure if i qualify but i would love to try a JK fixed blade, I loved the folder I got on trade. In any case you're awesome for doing this.
Thanks,
Paul
