How many big old lock back fans we got around here?

I like my Mako too! I don't carry it very often due to it being my 15th anniversary State of Tenn. knife not due to my mod. I want to make sure my nephew gets it some day.

Congrats HH!!! Very beautiful!!!!:thumbup: :)

I remembered you liked my rosewood hunter. What an exceptional example you found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep. :)

I figured, if you're gonna have a Buck 110, might as well be a 50th Anniversary Edition. I carry this on my belt pretty regularly, too... and got it for a SONG! $34 out the door. This is one the kids will get one day.

Thanks, gentlemen. I'm very happy with this knife. It's since taken over carry privileges in my rotation.

Jehicks87, that is a very nice 110. I've been wanting one of the Anniversary editions myself, but the fact that I already had a 110 kept me from springing for it.

Thanks! I enjoy it quite a bit. I was able to look at a couple and this one had the nicest scales in the store. I didn't know about the Cabela's version coming with the 50th Anniversary Tin. That is something I'd like to get my hands on to keep my smaller knives and stones in... if anybody looking has one, hint hint.

Still my favorite.

That is real slick! When did they come with pocketclips?

I'm not certain what that buttony thing is. At one time a number of years ago, there was an aftermarket mod fella who would take your 110 and make an auto out of it. Such a modified 110 is what that might be. No matter what it is, I am relatively certain that Buck is not currently producing anything that looks like that.

I was just looking around the web. Definitely an aftermarket conversion. I thought Buck made them in their custom shop but I was mistaken. For the prices they get it seems sketchy. There was only one machine shop I found that did them claiming they were the original, but they no longer offer their service.

I am a fan of the big lock back. The Buck 110 has been one of my main knives and companion for 30+ years and has drawn me to collecting Buck’s.

Here's a blast from the past. There has to be few of these old tanks still kicking around out there.

That's correct! It's an full auto. Extremely good fit and finish on this one. Much better than my original Buck 110 actually. I bought on eBay many years ago when it was legal to buy autos there.

Here is an old pic of my other Buck auto. The 112 conversion. Good, but more of standard quality for a Buck.
