Way too many or not enough???
I almost always have a leatherman supertool, first generation I think, on my belt at work or at play because I like to have the pliers and stuff handy. The sure way to need it is to leave it at home. I also usually have a paper scale Buck 110 (lighter) on my belt and it just stays there, just like a small flashlight in the fall and winter. I also have a canoe in my cargo pocket because I like to have a traditional knife with me and a Pioneer Pruner. I like the grippy alox handles for work, its not too ostentatious and the hawkbill comes in hand for some everyday tasks there. I used to carry a Spyderco Police and a sodbuster but I was running out of pocket room. Since I used them the least, and if I'm getting one of them out its probably time to go find the proper tool, they take a rest now.
Outside of work I trade the Pruner for a Harvester as its the closest thing I have to a nice scout pattern right now and the saw comes in handy every non and then. I also have my Case large sodbuster for heavier tasks, sometimes an Opinel 8, a medium Case trapper cause I got it from Jammpa and I like it, and a 108 OT as I've carried it for 30 years or so. Sort of my catch-all, go to, mail opening, fingernail cleaning, teeth picking knife.
On Sundays I trade out that paperscale 110 for a white cow bone scaled model or another nice Buck folder I have with giraffe bone. I usually keep the sodbuster if I'm wearing cargo pants too. If I'm in slacks I scale down to either a green Vic Farmer or just my canoe. Pocket real estate just doesn't allow much else. But I've also got three or four fixed blades in my truck doors too.
