  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many knives do you carry at a time?

3-4 usually. Small keychain Swiss Army knife, main EDC blade, backup in EDC bag and my Multi-Tool.

I'm almost embarrassed to say three. I either have a Mini-Grip, Buck 501 or 500 clipped or in a belt pouch, a little Vic Ambassador in my pocket (for the other tools), and a Vic Classic rides on my keychain. The thing is, I like to have a little larger blade just because but the knife I use 99% of the time is the little Ambassador which has a small blade, nailfile, scissors, tweezers, and toothpick.

I have assorted others in my vehicle (I do SAR so ride with rescue gear) including a Fallkniven F1, Buck 119, a couple Farmers and OHT's tucked into my various bags, and a large SAK in the door pocket. Also have a Leatherman Wave in the glovebox.

Still, of everything I own and carry, the Ambassador is what gets used the most.

Usually two but sometimes three. Always a CRKT PECK or KISS as a money clip and a folder. Pending on what I'm doing, I will carry small fixed blade too for when I don't want to muck up a folder. I even made a leather pocket holster for the fixed which also carries a Leatherman PST

I typically carry three: Vic Rambler on my keychain, slip-joint in my left front pocket, and a modern one-hander clipped in my right front pocket.

CRK Small Sebenza 21 Insingo, Queen #51T Mini Trapper, Victorinox Rambler

3, 1 primary folder for cutting tasks than 2 multi tools on the keychain which had the blade used only a handful of times over the past 5 years (less than 10). A victornox rambler and leatherman micra, it's a good combo that has allowed me to fix numerous small electronics and save my cell phone after it took a swim in a lake on a camping trip before.

I generally carry 1 folder or sak sometimes ill carry both but my friends make fun of me for carrying 1 knife... so dont want to encourage them haha.

I have a Leatherman Micra and some little, <2 1/2" folder in my pocket due to restrictions where I work. I also carry a first aid/boo boo kit in my backpack with a Micra and a Benchmade Rescue Hook. On weekends, I often have a folder of some kind as well as a Nite Ize pouch with a Leatherman Super Tool 300 and a Spyderco Rescue in orange zytel and ATS-55.

Most I ever carried at once was nine. It had to do with my wife's crazy ex and his gun collection and concealed carry permit, and my lack of same.

I carry two knives most of the time.

SAK Cadet in a pocket on my wallet and a 3inch EDC blade.

ER Dark Talon in right front pocket (sometimes I switch the ER with a CS Rajah 2). Benchmade Stryker in the left front pocket. Benchmade REI 530 in shirt pocket. CS Micro on my keychain. SAK Farmer in Maxpedition a round can pouch.

I carry two daily, a Spyderco Navaja in my Right Pocket and a Zero Tolerance 303 in my Left. If I'm working I only carry one, a Zero Tolerance 350. If I'm dressed up I only carry my Navaja. If I'm camping I carry my ZT 303 and my Spyderco Day Hiker and pack my ZT 350 just incase. I have three knives that see little use, a Kershaw Storm, Kershaw Speed Bump, and a Custom Recurved Fixed Blade; the folders don't see much use because they dull much faster than my users and my Custom is kind of heavy to wear with my gun.

For awhile now it's been 3. A Victorinox Classic on my keyring. A Boker Barlow in my left front pocket. The right front pocket has a Spyderco Delica or Endura clipped to it. Recently the Endura has pretty much taken over that spot.

I usually carry two or three blades. One or two EDC utility/defensive blades and then a muliti-tool, but a small one.

Good combo i have found is Spyderco Endura, Kershaw Oso, and Leatherman Side-Clip. The three of them seem to cover everything I would need a knife for.

Endura is fully serrated, Oso is plain blade

Two.

First, I always carry a SAK. It's been a Hiker for years, but I recently started carrying a Camper.

Second, a small fixed blade (usually an Izula 2) or a folder with a clip.

If Victorinox would build a well designed one handed opener with a sub 3" blade and the same tools the Hiker/Camper have I would probably only carry one.

I generally carry a case copperlock and a leatherman original. Front, opposite pockets. Sometimes i'll carry an old timer stockman instead of the case.

I also carry a zippo, and a 1911A-1. also i carry, but not all the time, a spare magazine/surefire 6p in a carrier. I wear this to town or when its dark, but leave it off at work as it gets in my way too much.

At my low-paying job, one knife. Right now it's a Paramilitary 2 that I'm putting through the paces. It was a BM 943 before that, and a Microtech Ultratech before that. I rotate these out as the novelty wears off. The Ultratech (being a D/A OTF) was helluva fun for a while, but then I got bored with it. It just didn't have the "soul" that my 943 has.

At my real job (IP Law), I carry a BM 480-1 Shoki in my suit. It's invisible when it's not in use, and unthreatening when in sight.

In the woods I'll carry my Busse TGLB, and a BM 520 (that'll be replaced by the PM2 for a bit). I ALWAYS bring my BM 3550 along in my pack as a backup, but usually not on me anymore.
