How many knives do you carry at a time?

Always a folder in my right front pocket, and normally my neck knife worn under my shirt in case someone wants to use a knife who doesn't know how. If I don't feel like giving them my Southard, Reloader or what have you I toss them the neck knife. I also find the warnie on my neck knife comes in handy for certain tasks.

On me I always have one in my pocket. In my bag I carry everywhere with me (work, in the car, outdoors, etc) I have between 3-6. So any given day I may have up to 7 knives with me.

Lots of backup options.

Thanks cbxer, now I have a reason to get a Spyderco for left hand use. Up to now it was "two is one, one is none'". I've been keeping a 'good' knife in my right pocket and a beater in my left pocket.

I typically carry two or three, usually a tactical folder and a stockman. I occasionally carry a small fixed blade to compliment or replace the tactical folder. I always carry my Leatherman juice or a SAK, but I don't really count those as being knives. There was a period of time where I would also carry a neck knife, but I am kind of over that.

I just carry one, and that one depends on what county I plan to be in for the day- my county allows for unlimited folding carry length, so I carry a Spyderco Stretch. The closest neighboring county only allows for carrying knives up to 3" long, so I have a BM 556 for that. I also carry the 556 when I'm wearing shorts, as I am now, so I'm currently carrying the 556.

Alternatively, I hike with a BM 275 Adamas, and when I do I usually also have a Svord Peasant Knife on me if I plan on bringing/cutting food because the 275 is a bit big for that.

One, unless you count the little sak on my key ring. The blade really does not get used but the toothpick and scissors do.

two, sometimes 3 in a belt bag. it's the same principle as bring different types and sizes of screwdrivers, or carrying a multi. for fine slicing, i now have a 3.5 caly. for heavier cuts or whittling, a case or GEC slipjoint. for "introducing" to people, maybe an endura or a military.

Two. An Emerson Super Roadhouse in the left front pocket (I had Emerson tap and drill it for LHC) and a CRKT Folts Minimalist in my right coin pocket. I'm open to carrying more though!

My entire EDC system currently includes 5 knives, each for a different purpose. I carry:

-A folding knife with a blade length of at least 3.5" (the ones in my rotation are currently all Cold Steel blades and include a Voyager tanto, Recon 1 tanto, Code 4 spear point, Pocket Bushman, and Mackinac Hunter [soon adding a medium original Espada]), for general cutting tasks
-Cold Steel Super Edge on my keychain, for cutting certain foods and when I don't want to scare sheeple with the bigger knife
-The knife on my multitool (either a Leatherman Sidekick or a Victorinox Swisschamp), I don't generally use this, since I carry the MT for the other tools (and prefer the superior ergonomics, blade steel and lockup of a dedicated folding knife) but I may use it when I don't want to scare hoplophobic people and I need to cut something
-Cold Steel Survival Edge, in my backpack as a SHTF tool
-Cold Steel Kudu, in my backpack as backup

I used to carry an ESEE Izula instead of the Survival Edge but I found its handle to be too small and uncomfortable for my small sized hands, even with the canvas micarta scales. The handle of the Survival Edge is really nice in hand (hollow without being weak!) and the whole knife feels lighter, if you can believe that.

When I'm not at work I may carry my Cold Steel Spartan or AK-47.

Three- Vic classic black on keychain, a rotation of (currently) 5 saks in right front and either a traditional folder or modern I. Left just depending on what strikes my fancy/
Today is tinker and crkt m16

More than the number of guns this gal has concealed.....:D

I carry 'em all, just in case. I keep them in a small egg crate foam padded pistol case which keeps them from touching each other, and when I need something specific, it's right there in my truck. I know it sounds a little obsessive, but I hate to be without a corkscrew, for example, when I really need one.

Always two sometimes three.

A small fixed blade on my belt and one or two folders.

I have a Kershaw skyline that goes everywhere with me, both formal and informal. I have a BM Adamas coming in the mail, which I plan to carry along with the skyline.

My Kershaw will be the non-intimidating edc which I can use in public. The Adamas will be the brute, which will stay concealed in public, but will be used at home and with people who are comfortable with knives. Plus the Adamas will be my last ditch self defense weapon.

Usually two.
A modern clipped in right pocket, and a traditional in my left or in my watch pocket.
Sometimes I'll carry a fixed blade and neck knife.

Usually two or three. A folder clipped to my left front pocket, a small fixed blade on my belt on the right and a Leatherman Squirt S4 in my vest when riding.

Two, a Kershaw OD-2 in my front pocket or watch pocket and an Alox Bantam in my wallet. I also have a Gerber multitool in my backpack that gets carried a lot.

Leatherman Squirt on the keychain. Usually, a small folder (3" or less) with pocket clip. That one could be a Spyderco Sage 2, Navigator, or a MCusta MC53D (cocobolo & Damascus). Often, a smaller knife, usually a Case XX or a SAK Executive in my right front pocket as well. AT least one has to be good for slicing apples, and one for opening packages and mail. The Sage 2 will do all that.

So. Usually two or three knives.

On duty I carry on me, a BM 810 Contego and a D2 eskabar. And on my go bag I have a Wilson coptool.
