How many knives have you bought during the lockdown?

None, but I was gifted an old Russell Barlow

I was doing well until this weekend. Now I have a Jurassic and a micarta scale inbound, an LT Wright Great Plainsman, and yet another Dragonfly. I think I'm done for a while aside from some bronze hardware for the Jurassic if I can find it.

I bought something to keep me entertained, though I don’t think you can call it a knife.

I definitely didn’t need a Katana, but I’m having a blast slicing through every weed and cardboard box I’ve come across. I should give Cold Steel it’s props too, it came straight, sharp, and very useable out of the box. I’ve even been trying to learn how to swing it properly.
You probably already know this, but proper edge alignment goes a long way. This will make cutting sessions safer and more satisfying. :D

How is the handle? A common complaint I read about the inexpensive Cold Steel Katana and Wakizashi is the less than comfy handle.

Got a CS Recon Tanto juuust before the lockdown commenced and my old man got me a Kobun recently. Been hankering for tanto blades for a while now.

I bought one Microtech. Nothing else yet, but I have been scouring the internet for the next one.

One drop point D2 hunting knife. The handle I'm replacing with a mystery wood from an old fence post.

About 10, started with four bronze handled knives from Artisan. Moved on to a green Kershaw launch for St Patrick's day.
Then my first We knife and another Artisan ( folding stiletto). Two OTF's from AKC and a Buck 110 Auto Elite.
Last was a Hinderer XM-18 ( oops that's 11).

Just one, a Grohmann double bladed slipjoint. I ordered it on May 2nd. Looks as if it's gonna take awhile.

Not too many: couple slipjoints and a Dan Graves bowie. Also have a custom order that was just finished by a French maker on the way.

I haven't counted but more than I would have if I didn't have so much extra time.

Just one. RMJ Sparrow. And I have a let me know when it comes in on a Manix 2 with the red g10 scales. Really need to get a new computer instead on nickle and dime on new knives which I don't need. lol

I'm economizing during this crisis not knowing when or if I'll have a job to go back to when it's "over".
So I've bought 2 and sold 6 I think.
I've got a few others lined up for future sales but it's just tough parting ways with them.
My two purchases are a Buck 650 n.o.s. that seriously needs a regrind, man it's a serious sticker but is crazy fat, and although the handle is a composite it has a full tang underneath.
And a mountain bike themed Vic Classic that because of my favorite pastime I had to have.
The obverse has a tire tread pattern, love it.

I've bought 11 so far and considering 3 more. Free time coupled with people unloading their hidden stache has been killing my ability to save money.

I want to say 3 but I feel like there is an order I am forgetting probably because it was before things got more restricted here. I know I picked up 1 yesterday at an antique store not entirely sure if it is genuine will post about it later but picked it up for $20 was worth the risk.
