Do I have to count steak knives and butter knives? Oh yeah, we have a couple of those silly cake cutting knives for special occasions. I also have this whacky knife/tong spatula thing for the BBQ. Kids got it for me for fathers day.:D Then there's all the plastic ware... OMG!!! I will never figure this out... I will have to get back to ya on this one...;)

:)

Not enough. Guessing:

Fixed: ~10
Folding: ~25
Multi-tool: 1
T-Hawks: 2

EDC: one fixed and 4-5 folders get the nod as the mood strikes.
EDC (hunting): t-hawk, 1 fixed, 1 folder

Roughly 30 folders (including SAKs, MTs, and traditional knives)

Roughly 15 fixed blades (including machetes but not including culinary blades or axes)

I cycle through all of my folders so that they all get carried periodically. I only really use the fixed blades for outdoor recreation and woodworking. I like to keep my collection countable so that no knives can go unnoticed. So far, the theory is working:D. It takes a lot of "thinning the herd" to maintain a collection that I can keep track of. Trading/ selling is fun -its kind of like trading baseball cards as a child only everything is more "cutty":D.

2 fixed blades, a puma hunters friend, and a knife from WWII that I identified but i forgot what it is.
1 kershaw tyrade
1 gerber multitool
As you can see my collection is small but i learn a lot on this forum, and i consider myself to know a lot about knives. Someday il build my collection and buy some of my dream knives from famous companies like chris reeves and strider and hinderer, and maby my favorite custom knife maker of all time Don Hanson

:D

You've already forgot some. The Blades on your Mowers. :D
And what about the Electric Knife and does that count as one blade or two. :D
Just look out in your shop. You have tons of Utility & Putty Knives and Drywall Knives, you can't forget those. :D

Probably 15 folders. I EDC two regularly. My fixed blades only get used during deer season.

I REALLY DON'T WANT TO KNOW by EDDY ARNOLD :D

Hi clockman -

I have 5 fixed blade sheath knifes, two Cutco kitchen knives and a Case kitchen knife - so 8 FB's. I will not count the no-name and Farberware knives that are allowed to languish, unused by ME, in my house.

I have approximately 35 folding knives.

I regularly carry 6 of those knives, two go every day without question (both are SAK's), and I rotate in a larger one-hand-opener, based on my feel in the morning.

So -

8 fbs
35 folders

8 total that I carry regularly.

best regards

mqqn

Let's just say that if I carried a different knife every day it would take me close to two years to carry them all.

Have sold many from my collection the past couple months. Here's what's left!

Folders 24
CRK- 2
Spyderco-14
Benchmade- 2
Kershaw- 3
Buck- 2
KaBar- 1

SAKS- 4

Fixed Blades 1

ESEE Rat Izula

I typically carry 1-3 knives given the circumstances.

Less than 45 my age, but close. I might top my age in a year or two! I am starting to find time to grind steel, woohoo!
