ROFL, you guys are killing me up there :)

Just for the fun of it, which one would be the keeper if you had to give up all but one?

I have more than I need, but not nearly as many as I want.

I'll say that I'm in the 100 overall range, give or take...

I have:
4 fixed blades - Short Ka-bar, Rat H.E.S.T., Rat Izula, Becker bk11
1 folder - Victorinox Farmer
I usually just edc the farmer. I just ordered a Delica 4 so that will be my new edc.

I've recently sold a ton of my stuff, here, other boards and Craigslist.

I wanted to get down to "close" to what I'd use.

I've kept: 16 folders - 7 fixed - 2 machetes, plus my katana. :)

I'll probably even trim those down a bit more - sell a few and gift a few to my sons.

Right now I'm waiting for my Andrew Demko "ankerson," 4" custom and at least 1 of the however many ZT/Hinderer collaboration models that are being discussed. :D

As they say (you can never have to many "Knives") and since I keep a list : I have 226 Spydies ~~~ 6 - Bucks ~~~ 8 - Benchmades ~~~ 21 - Gerbers from the "Old Days" when I did not know what a real Knife was.!! ~~~ 12 - Puma's because I bought a Display Case full of Knives from a man who did not want to sell Knives when he bought the Business and I gave him $100 for all.! (and gave most of them away and at 19 did not know what I know now.) ~~~ 8 - Collins Machetes new and never have even cut a Twig with them.! ~~~ 31 - Assorted Knives over the years because I just liked them at the time and had a good price on them (Cheapo's) ~~~ 4 - Gerber Belt Knives ~~~ and 1 Combs Custom Belt Knife. ~~~ 6 - Chris Reeves Knives . ~~~ And I have learned through the years a man and his money are soon parted to buy his Toys.! We will not even go into my Gun Collection as I get to thinking I must be crazy as all these are just material things and your Family and Health are the most important things in your life and when I am gone who will care what I had in this life as material items and only be remembered by what I accomplished while I was here !! ~~~ With all my Medical problems I doubt I will be here next year at this time and when it really comes down to it ~~~ who really cares but the Vultures that want what I had while I was here ~~~ so in the Future months most will be sold and everybody will just have to be tissed at me. You all have a great 4th and a safe 4th with good friends and and good food.!! ~~~ best wishes to everybody and take care of yourselves as we are only here for a short time, so make the best of it while you are here.! ~~~ JAG

I find that a spreadsheet was much easier for me to keep up with what I have.

I use colors and symbols to help me identify things like location.
Column headings include Part#, name, description, year introduced, year discontinued,
MSRP at introduction, current MSRP, qty, condition, steel, purchase date etc.

Once set up it's easy to maintain but I'm always behind on updating it :o

40+ folders and 15+ fixed blades, including one machette. If I dug about, I'm sure I would come up with more. More Spydercos and Benchmades than anything else. A 110 I've had for dog's years.

Most often, I carry a D4 or a Grip because they are so darn handy.

Since i cant justify keeping most knives around for very long, i dont have that many at all, but all get used

5 folders

2 fixed

3 SAKs

2 of folders are probably going to moved along sometime soon... one of the fixed blades as well:rolleyes:
