Thank you for reminding me to do EDIT #4 for my pair of ZT 0562 in Ti and CF custom scalesI have multiple Sebenzas and Inkosis in different configurations. Different blade shapes and inlays. I have 2 of the ZT 0562s, one being a sprint run with an orange scale and everything else in black. I have 4 pm2s in various configurations as well. I just like what I like.
If you made up an updatable catalogue of your collection, with accompanying photos, it would make it easier for him to deal with.I have a bunch of Enduras. Pretty much all variations with two of the really good ones like K390, Superblue, Hap 40, and VG 10. These things never wear out though so my son will be inheriting more than he will know what to do with.
I have apologized to him already for the mess he will have after I'm gone. He doesn't have time to sell 500 knives nor the expertise to know what is worth what. I told him to buy a membership here and sell them a few at a time. He works about 70 to 80 hours a week so hopefully his wife will learn fast and help him.
I agree. Much of my knife collection is stored and is difficult to get to boxes put away . Those are stored in layers with an excavation needed to get them. I don't have the time to do what is needed. I have been collecting knives since I was a kid and I'm in my 60's now.If you made up an updatable catalogue of your collection, with accompanying photos, it would make it easier for him to deal with.
