How many multiples do you own of the same knife?

I have 3 NIB Ontario Utilitac II’s…..just saw that they’ve been discontinued. I’m gonna be rich!!!! :cool:

I do not have any complete multiples, but if I knew the Sebenza 21 was being discontinued, I would have purchased a second KnifeArt Carbon Fiber Small Seb Insingo.

None. Went on a semi-minimalism path about a year ago and got rid of the duplicates, because in this day and age, you're likely to find the same or similar knife if you lose one. Hated the feeling when I opened up the knife draw to see excess. I'll never own just one knife, because that's impractical and I have some sentimental knives, but I've been carrying the same folder for five days a week for about a year and a half now.

Working on my Eklipse Bowie collection right now lol I think I’m done, I have enough,
1 WF blue/black G10
2. SW bronze, OD green G10
3. Battle bronze, sw blade, blue/black G10
4. WF, battle bronze, FDE G-10
5. Stonewash, blue/black G-10

I see a battle bronze and maybe a stonewash textured scale in the near future, then, maybe I’ll be done. With those
 
I have two Spyderco Tenacious knives. I wore the liner lock out on the first and liked it enough to get a second.

Wow, those black Keating models with the big bolster would be a great companion to the Espada XL aluminum version! And the red/burgundy is beautiful!

As to the question, uh... I have nine PM2s. I know that is a problem. I want to whittle it down to just a few, including a maple carved scale Cruwear, an engraved Ti S45, Crucarta, and maybe keep the DLC Rex 45/copper, but jeez is that HEAVY, and maybe a wharnie version.

I have three Dodos, but one has Desert Ironwood and a plainedge under the hood. Multiples of certain SAKs (selling for hundreds now).

I have 6 Espadas, a fancy XL, two regular XLs, two XHP Larges and one fancy AUS8a large in need of refurb, that I will eventually give an XHP blade to make a "gentleman's large".

At one point I had like 28 gec 15s. theyre not all exactly the same, theyre similar. but my collection of knives is highly repetitive especially in terms of traditionals, and certain balisongs. i have basically about 5-6 patterns of gecs I love, and i have many multiples of them.
 
I have a lot of multiples of a lot of models - being a collector tends to result in that.

I have 200+ WW2 1219C2s and USN-MK2s by the 4 wartime vendors, as well as about 20 of the VN era versions and about 35 of the post VN era across multiple manufacturers.
I have 5 Western Bx54 Bushman Pequeno Machetes for the M592 bailout kit plus several from the originator Collins and other cloners by Case and Kinfolks.
About 50 WW2 USN-MK1 knives from the various vendors.
Multiples of each US Bayonet (minimum 3) from the M1873 Trowel bayonet to the M1892 Krag. the M1905, the M1, M3 (knife), M4. M5. M6. M7 and M9.
8 or 9 US M1913 Patton sabers
and lots and lots and lots of multiples of various models of Western knives, such as every variation of the L48 and P48 B&T knives from 1936 through the Coleman/Western years.

And as to users -
Multiple Kabar shorties, BK9s, BK16s, BK5s, Kabar 1217s, Harbor Freight machetes, Western F48As and F48Bs and........
