How much do you spend on Traditionals?
I dunno. To me it's kinda like asking a fella how much money he makes. Kind of tacky.
^^^ this. Just picked up a smooth ivory barehead 2 blade #15 with the long pull clip, which feels like a grail knife for sure. I'd like to settle into what I have already and not buy anything for awhile. It's actually getting annoying to not be able to choose what I want to carry because there's too many good options. Still too new to feel comfortable selling what I have but maybe once I just use and appreciate what I have already I'll know better what to give up. I'm thinking I might start putting into savings the cost of any knife I think I must have and see how that looks in a few months.I Really don't want to know
Regards

That's what people who have money say.![]()

feel free to delete the thread if it offends you. I am just curious leaning more to the collectors here. There are just as many collectors as there are people who don't like to admit they are. Not trying to be tacky at all.
I don't plan on buying anything else this year
I don't find it tacky. Asking something how much they make puts them on the spot and makes them uncomfortable, that's why it's tacky. Asking in a forum with hundreds of members doesn't put anybody on the spot. The only people that will answer are the ones that are comfortable with it. Therefore, not tacky. Now admittedly, there will probably not be too many people that are comfortable.
Unless there's another run of Barlows before the new year.![]()
