How much do you spend on Traditionals?

Well, I tell you what. I'm feeling generous right now, so if you feel like you might want that 20 bucks back I'll go ahead and take that rotten old knife off your hands for you. The thing's got to be going on 40 years old. I just can't, in good faith, let you walk around with that thing in your pocket. Heck, I'll even throw in a brand new 2014 model. :p

Cory, your offer is sorely tempting, but I'm gonna have to respectfully decline. I reckon I'll just struggle along with that old clunker, and find a way to put up with it. Granted, it looks good, has zero gaps, blades are tight as can be, and the steel is wicked sharp. I'll just work around those issues. However, gosh darn it, when you mentioned that new 2014 model, I was almost persuaded--but the moment passed! :)

Maybe I shouldn't say, in case the wife is spying on me.

I don't buy a lot of knives, but I always support the forum knife. This year, I also bought an Eric's Jack, and a couple off the exchange that I couldn't live without.

Truth be told, the bulk of my money goes into knife mod materials...pins, cover materials, bar metals, abrasives, etc. Good thing I only do it is a hobby, if it was a business, I'd have to declare bankruptcy.

I am fortunate that I do get some of my knives in trade for services, which is great. Keeps me from going out and buying a lot of them.

I look at my small collection of 8 or 9 knives ranging from a case peanut to a pm2, and I still feel like I'm spending too much. I'm a conservative spender but have been labeled a cheap skate in the past.

Me too. But we always find a way to get what WE want in most cases cheap skate or not. My wife notices this. I think it's about time to buy another TC Barlow. :D
