How much have you spent on steel?

I have somewhere around 60 knives (not including kitchen hardware), I have kinda lost count... a few cheap a couple spendy so say $8500. But I have more than that tied up in one custom rifle, and an easy 100K in the rest of the rifle collection.

When I was a teenager making minimum wage at my first job.... I asked the same question when I saw what people were buying for their cars on car forums. Some people put everything on credit cards living beyond their means..... and some people just make really really good money. A couple of my buddies bring home $12,000+ a month after taxes.
 
I'm at about $750, and I actually thought it would be way higher than that, value wise around $1000 but I have gotten some great deals. at Blade Show I hope to get my first $300+ knife
