How much snark could a snarksnark snark if a snarksnark could snark snark?

I jumped on that bandwagon. Thanks. Need some scales now.

I am an impatient so-and-so, and as such I'm probably going to run over to Grand Prairie knives on Saturday to get the scales. Just need to decide black or orange. I'm thinking black. Orange wouldn't look so good on a DT knife. (They have the hard plastic sheath for pretty cheap as well.)

I do like the orange ones on the river, but you're right, the green micarta would look better.

Alright, someone please send me the link to the little Esee... I don't have facebook.

Thanks!

Jeremy

Uhmm... sorry. :o
Gone off the site, and I just got a shipping notice.

This is just to say

I have ordered
the Candiru
that was in
the shopping cart

and which
you were probably
wanting
for EDC

Forgive me
it was a deal
so tempting
and so good

I'm trying to rehabilitate, but I love little fixed blades I can slip in a pocket.

It was on the popular site for knives that you don't have to pay for shipping. It's one of their selling points! However right now they are out of stock. They were in the process of liquidating for their move to Escanaba Michigan.

Lately more and more so I've been finding myself moving towards smaller blades. AIG's Imp and Grendel, Bark River's PSK and ULB (little bit larger but still perfectly pocketable), the BK-11/14, the Esee Candiru, Todd's hornet... Just handy little blades that aren't that intimidating while carrying at work is always a plus!

The biggest issue I have with that site is that they don't carry any of the knives I want to buy. Oh, well. 1st world problem. :D

I admit, I have not spent as much money with Derrick as I have wanted to. Like I mentioned earlier I'm an impatient so-and-so, most of my knife shopping at a knife store is done at Grand Prairie Knives since it's right across the river from me and I can go pick something up instead of waiting for shipping and all that crap. I know I'm spoiled but it's with good cause!

Awesome isn't it? I have had that happen with a yellow perch getting grabbed by a pickerel a few years ago. Landed the perch and released with a dinged up rear 3" and tail...

It was pretty darn cool. I'm not sure exactly how big the pike was, butfrom what I saw it was at least 10# woulda been cool to land both of them.
