That is all.

I'm reminded of the time my father-in-law and I were out for a leisurely drive in the mountains over by Newport (we're talkin' serious moonshine country, folks), and saw a young tow-headed boy walking along the road with only one shoe on.

I rolled down the window and asked, "What'sa matter son, you lose a shoe?"

"No, dumbass," he replied curtly. "Ah done found one."

That right there is funny!

Thinking about stripping my new 9. Anyone have an opinion as to strip or no? Advantages?

How many 9s do you have? if the answer is > 1, I say go for it: that way, if you don't like the outcome, you still have one to use. If you do like the outcome, you have 1 of each! it's a win-win!

If this is your first, I say use it before you strip it, that way you'll know if you want to strip it or if you like the look of well-worn coating. I lean more towards the latter, plus I'm too lazy to strip mine.

I like stripped blades, but I wont strip under the scales anymore. It sucks cleaning a rusty handle....

I think I'll prep mine for stripping down the road. I'll etch it now while the laser etch is nice and crisp. Then strip it once the coating starts to wear off.

This. I still haven't striped my first (BK2). I like that worn look to it :D If it was a 15 on the other hand... I'd say strip away! the slice factor multiplies with the coating off.
