After I entered, it told me I won the knife - not so honest injun!

It loaded for me on the 5:30 run, but when I hit "save" it didn't respond/didn't acknowledge so I thought it hung up.

I then reloaded and then hit sumbit again and it said I was, in fact entered.
Not trying to double dip!, honest!

This happened to me so I tried it again and this is the message I got after the 2nd long wait:

OK, I managed to enter the second drawing. It took a few tries, when the page timed out and said to reload.
I hope I didn't accidentally enter more than once.

Had the same experience, so I think it may have worked. On a good note I was also concerned about entering twice with the delay in the system, but it looks as if that’s not possible.... so hopefully no harm no foul.

I understand it’s a work in progress and appreciate an honest attempt to make this a fair system available to all. I say this having gotten #77 ‘s on previous runs with the old system knowing fully that there’s a chance I may not be drawn for a single knife available in 2018.

How? The entries list is anonymized for me (the email addresses show up as asterisks except for the first and last two characters). Is there another way?

At the bottom of the page that is produced by clicking the link there is a search box where you can input the email address you used to enter. It will verify that it was included in the drawing.

I knew there would be. Flippers and Aholes just can not help themselves. Thank you Mike for all your hard work! I hope this gets all straightened out for the sake of us honest people.

As much as I hate to say it, I wonder if it would simply be better to just list them all as KnivesShipFree does with their Northwoods line. Do away with the Early Reserve system for high demand releases and just operate on a first come, first serve basis. The shark frenzy that accompanies Northwoods releases is a powerful deterrent for me personally but I know plenty of folks here love that sort of style and are often successful at getting what they desire.

In the end, it is but a knife, but still...

I appreciate all your efforts, Mike, your desire for fairness is and should continue to be commended. Hopefully you don't stress yourself out too much with this debacle.

For some reason it crashed on me twice and I wasn’t able to enter. I’m using an iPhone 6 connected to my home WiFi.

It’s odd because I was able to enter the the first random pick test with no problem.

I don’t know what the answer is either my friend. Just between my own multiple legit email addresses, immediate family and close work friends, I can come up with a dozen different email addresses easily. Maybe the random drops for ER were the best choice. Split the amount of reservations in half and drop them 12 hours apart. Or go the KSF route and just drop them on your site whenever you wish.
I think letting everyone know ahead what the time will be is what always crashes the system.
This is supposed to be enjoyable for both you and us, not a source of stress.
