How should Collector Knives sell GEC SFO's

OK, in respect to those that have reported they entered correctly, received not notifications otherwise, and were not in the certified draw list... It is my fault.

Sadly, I found the problem, and my developer worked overnight on the fix. You submitted your email perfectly, it had nothing to do with anything you did. One of the audits checks to insure that each email address does not have any restrictions in their current Early Reserve System (ERS) account. But you have not actually used the ERS on the new system (since early last year), so you didn't have an account registry in the ERS. Those that had never used the ERS before were not disqualified - they just got dropped from the list of valid emails. This should not have happened, because it was never a requirement that you be a current user of the ERS.

So I have presented each one that responded to me via email as requested, with a heartfelt apology and an opportunity to try and make amends. I will double their entry in the remaining draw of their choice. That is the best I can do at this point.
Thank you for the explanation Mike! No worries, your resolution is more than fair. Hopefully better luck on the next one! :D

I feel the same way. There was almost a given that a glitch may happen, and we found it on the first try, which is a success to me. I’d rather see it get caught right away, than down the road only to find out people weren’t entered at all, on every knife. I was glad to be part of the test pool on this one.

Thank you very much for the explanation and fair solution. I can’t even imagine how many emails your sifting through working out the bugs. Looking forward to your email reply

This is the sort of thing that makes me want to buy even more knives from you, Mike.

You are a good guy Mike.

Hey - in a few years there might be a lottery for the lionsteel Barlows...

Yes, once again Mike has shown that he will go the extra mile to make this work and that it is as fair as possible. I doubt that the profits from this one knife pattern offsets the hassle of what he has gone through to get this working and working correctly.
My hat is off to you Mike. Thank you for your efforts.
Scott

It appears there were no issues for me this time Mike, I got a confirmation on the screen that my email had been entered. Thanks for your emails about the earlier issue, and as others have said, you go above and beyond.
