Now that you know you don't like it, feel free to click the back button and view something else.

Pretty easy.
Okay ... so I should know before reading a comment that I don't like the content and should not read it?

Ok dude, stick around and keep reading lol IDC... you must like what people are saying if your still here.. if you don't like it.. hit the back button. Doh.
Exactly. You don't like Hinderer knives so click the back button and read something else. Couldn't agree more.

Listen broheim, if you have an issue with people sharing their opinions that you don't like, to the point that you need to demand that people should stop sharing those opinions, you're going to have a really bad time here. Just saying.

If you only want to see positive things said about Hinderer knives, you're not only in the wrong section, you're on the wrong board.

Careful, plenty of Front Line types on this forum(professional firefighter since 1993 here) are gonna tell you they don't need a $400 folder to do their jobs. If I rolled up to a scene and one of my crew pulled out a folder to take a door(yes, even a Hinderer) instead of grabbing the Irons, I'd kick his arse. People who buy these, or any high-end, high-priced knives are knife enthusiasts, regardless of profession. You wanna know what my duty knife was for years? A Spyderco Dragonfly.

All in all, I've had 10 years of combined military (Marine Corps infantryman, 2 combat deployments) and Fire/EMS time. I never heard of Hinderer knives until I started as a member of BF in 2012. In addition, my wife was a firefighter/paramedic for 10 years and my brother in law is a SWAT officer and detective for our city's PD. I've interacted with many police officers and other firefighters from other departments and myself and one other firefighter are the only ones I've ever known that owned a Hinderer.

Flipe8 is right, 99% of first responders and military personnel don't carry fancy knives on duty. I do however, but I'm a knife guy and I don't carry a Hinderer anymore. When I did carry one on duty it never opened I'm my pocket and I carried it tip down with the blade facing forward. Mine wouldn't flip at all without some wrist action and the detent was soft. It didn't bother me too much, but I'm not generally a flipper guy.

As to what most mil/leo/FF people carry on duty, it's usually a SOG or benchmade folder. Sometimes Spyderco but not very often. Or just the generic Chinese made knife. Most also carry a Leatherman multitool. Only myself and one other firefighter carry expensive blades on duty that I've personally encountered. I always carry a custom Emerson CQC-15 and he carries a Suspect Grind Strider SMF.

This discussion has reached it's end of useful life I'm afraid. If this same kind of bickering and childish nonsense continues it won't end well for some folks.
