Hump Day

There are some great photographers on our site! it's always intimidating when you just have a cell phone and bad lighting by the time I get home at night. I posted similar pics earlier this week. This one isn't much better but it's officially my first Hump Day post on Hump day! I don't know that I can actually pic a favorite Fiddleback of mine but this is my favorite combo!

Hey, I think your cell phone pics are pretty damn good!

I love the spalting on this one Dave! And the bolsters too. Such a sweet looking knife. I'm gonna have to grab one of those sheaths soon.

Pic looks good to me, but I just use my cell phone too so I'm probably not a good judge. :)

I love the bolster wood combo. It has me contemplating box elder with a black or OD bolsters...

Interesting grind. Almost like a high scandi-vex. It really showcases the "third degree" spalting. Very nice scales too! The bolsters really compliment the Wenge wood. I'm not one for Nessies but yours is pretty cool. Nice score.

Your pics are just fine BTW.

That beauty mark just jumps out at you. Beautiful Nessie here. I know it is from last week, but I had to say it. And prime the pump for tomorrow.

I hope that you had a good time Mist. It is curly Koa over nat. canvas with blue pinstripe. Just got it Monday, and I am eager to put it to good use.

Enjoy it McVeyMac. I miss it already! I love how that Koa shimmers in different lighting.

I love my job(s) and almost always have a good time, whether I'm knee deep in a swamp, or knee deep in snow...though I do sometimes get funny looks from the locals :)

It's that day of the week again... anxiously waiting towards friday. In the meantime, cheers to the hump!

I don't know, I think I had the perfect Nessie, but it was lost in the process of getting a Bushcrafter and a KE Bushie...I'm not going to complain though, I'll just get another one later :)

 nooo not the emerald one. Wow, if it went to D I'm sure he'll be a happy guy!

No, it was more complicated than that lol. D got the stainless Recluse to use for a sea kayaking knife. For the Nessie I got another of my old Fiddlebacks back from another friend, then sold it to fund the KE Bushie. It was a rather dynamic undertaking that all paid off in the end :)

I don't have another Nessie to post yet, but it's Hump Day, and I'm home when there's enough light to take a picture, so here's a new pic of the Camp Nessie sporting Electric Orange Shadetree.

Thurin,

As far as I'm concerned, you can keep on posting all the photos that you want of your Camp Nessie. I love the Electric Orange burlap. Very sharp looking (pun intended.)
