I don't know about the new ones but I've read the older Savage O/U guns didn't shoot the same POI on the barrels. I've been wanting a Rossi .22/.410 combo. Much cheaper and I don't have to worry about two barrels with one set of sights.

My granddad used to have a FN Safari Gun, it was an O/U 20 ga on the bottom with a 30-30 on top. It was a BEAUTIFUL gun, very ornate and shot like a beast. Only got to shoot it 3-4 times before my granddad died and my uncle got it, and sold it.

Not standard. I rarely use my Nalgenes anymore. They just don't fit in my cupholders. If I'm using plastic (or whatever fancy name you call it) I use my Camelbak Chute. Otherwise, Hydroflask and or Klean Kanteen.

I've been using 40 ounce Klean kanteens for a couple years now. I give a good wash with soap and water when I get them, and can't recall having any issues with a metallic taste.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I got an odd one.

Stopped on the way into the office today for some coffee, they introduced me to a new coffee drink called a Kyoto. 12 oz of cold brewed coffee with 4 (double) shots of espresso. I added a packet of raw sugar just cause they like to use a darker roast for their espresso pulls.

That is A LOT of caffeine. I'm surprised you can type. My hands would be so jittery I'd be all over the keyboard.

Good luck on the job search...I'm sure you'll boom soon. :D

Of the two, I'd say the 10/22 Takedown would be more easily packed for camping/hiking. But I've been looking at the Savage Model 42 Combo (.22LR/.410 over-under). It seems like it would be a ton of fun and having a combo gun gives you lots of options.

yeah, I think I'm leaning more towards the 10/22. and then maybe getting a riot barrel for my ithaca

Thought I'd offer these to you guys before I post it up in the exchange, this will not be out till bladeshow 2016, pm me for details. only 2 are available now

So it goes Shot-in-the-dark/Red Eye (1 shot), Black Eye (2 shots), Green Eye/Dead Eye (3 shots), and now apparently Kyoto (4 shots). What will tired coffee addicts come up with next? :P

I have yet to try one, but only because I keep forgetting to order one. Plus my quad-shot mocha handles whatever coffee need I might have. I'm not really a drip coffee guy.

Not exactly. A Kyoto is double the Ethiopian Landmine. Which is 6 oz of cold brewed coffee with 2 shots of espresso in it. I'm really not sure how they come up with the names however as long as they keep feeding my addiction I'm good with whatever they want to call it!

OH, ok I missed the cold-brew part, thought it was just normal drip coffee. I think the cold brew would add some richness if the espresso shots didn't already.

I just got the names off of wikipedia :p

Acorn'o-lantern carving needs to be turned into a contest in some way.
Haha! OU campus is covered in Oak trees and subsequently massive amounts of acorns. My kids think they are funny, and I usually leave some laying around for people to find.

It's fun and easy to do too! Just need a good pointy sharp knife. My AG Russell Hunters Scalpel neck knife works like a charm for detail work. Something different than pumpkins at least. However, I love carving pumpkins.
