I don't own an ESEE. Tell me why I should.

they are good designs, hold an edge well, incredible warranty and customer service.

and above all they do in fact make you cool

You should own a knife for your work, projects, or needs. Some of the ESEE knives work very well for me and some others. If you haven't found what works best for you, look at what ESEE has to offer. You might find something you like. They do make a very high quality gear and a great warranty at a nice price.

As for the kool aid, buy an ESEE and see if you like it. At worst, they have a high resale value.

Great knives, with a great warranty, made by great people. Need I say more?

Oh and the question should be "Which ESEE should I get first?"

Cuz their great outdoor knives
come with an outstanding warranty
and total Babe magnets

Buy a 6, decide not to use it, then sell it to me. Or more likely, you buy one ESEE, then 3 months later you have a bunch of them.:D

are you going to use it and might have to depend your life on a knife someday? if yes then esee is for you. if not, there are plenty of other knives out there that look better for picture threads.

there is no should
there is no need
there is only want

if you want one buy it.
if you don't want one, don't.

reasons to want one include but are not limited to:
great heat treat
simple, no frills, functionality
excellent fit and finish
because the Junglas looks cool
wonderful customer service
incredible warranty
several sizes & patterns designed to meet a variety of needs from frog dissection to cutting your way out of a wrecked helicopter

ESEE is not a knife, its a state of mind........ if you don't know why you should own one then you are not yet ready young grasshopper.

But seriously, if you don't know why you should own one then you probably don't have a use for it and should save your money.. and some of these guys states of mind on here scare the crap out of me.

Because corvettes are fast as hell, and attract the entirely wrong type of woman. Which are fun for about 2 hours.

As for an ESEE, dont. If you can't do it with a pocket knife and a machete, it's not worth doing.
