Can't think of any reason. You'd be just as well with any other brand if it fits your fancy. If you need someone to convince you to buy one of our knives, then you really don't belong here ;)

Sums up what I was going to post. And the fact that no one should ever make up your mind for you.
 
In one word: Value. If you find more knife, with higher quality, for a better price with the same warrenty, buy it. But if you can't, buy an ESEE.
 
Exactly. If someone comes here needing someone to convince them to buy an ESEE then they never belonged here to start with. Sorry to piss the guy off (if I did).
 
We're not selling anything here - make up your own mind... you have to live with your decision, not us.
 
Don't buy yourself an esee just buy everyone else here on the forum one so you can watch us use them, abuse them, play with them and basically live our lives with them and then you will begin to understand hey I need one too. Then after you buy it you will say damn im bad ass and now chics dig me. To top it off you get functional design, great handles excellent customer service other bad asses to hang out with and discuss what you do with your Esee knives and best of all you get to go to go on you tube make an ass of yourself in front of millions and because your holding a bad ass esee knife somebody will say damn your cool
 
Be aware, after buying one, you'll want to buy more. I've two, am saving for an ESEE-5 and pondering the Junglas versus the Complete Survival Pack with the ESEE-6. I'll likely end up with all of them in multiples.

An Izula is a fun versatile tool. The Izula II is better for larger handed folk. I'd love to see an Izula III to supersede my HEST.
 
I swear I find it hilarious that someone asks why they should own an ESEE knife and everyone here basically tells them to go buy something else. I love it!
 
Jeff, awesome answer. we can sing the praises of Esee but it's up to the individual to decide or not. hard to make the cult grow when you chase off the timid minded lol..
 
I really could care less whether you buy an ESEE or not. The ESEE forum is full of people who purchased the products after reading the threads and needed no further persuasion. No one here (particularly Jeff) is going to beg you to do anything. Come to the forum, read, socialize and if it does'nt suit you.......kick rocks!
 
Just follow this fourm, and you will very quickly learn why you should own one of, if not all of ESEE's line up! You will not only own great, "depend your life on" products, you will also gain a wealth of knowledge, and have the support of thousands of some very gifted, no BS people on here!

+1! It's your choice what you buy. We are not salesmen here..... Well some of us may be, but that's not why we lurk and post here....
