I fricken LOVE Emerson haters

I just have to say I am also a finger choil hater. I've passed on a few knives due to this.

I hate Flippers and bearings too, but those are at least amusing for a few minutes before the blade bumps my finger when closing it and I remember how useless of a feature this is.

I don't know what it is about Emersons... I just got another that arrived today. Nothing too special, just a no wave satin 7B, I just had to have it. I've got too many 7's to realistically use in a regular rotation . I certainly don't need more, but yet I will certainly get more.

Well I've bought 10 Emersons and I've sold off half of them to fund my other addiction, Busse Knives. My CQC -7s, 15 and 8 are definitely keepers. I forsee a Gentleman Jim and Emerson Kwaiken in my future. And if I get the chance I want another Super Commander. My only gripes with the brand is its sort of awkward to cut with the left sided chisel grind.

I love the knives. I'm a G-10 and 154CM fan. Very happy with my models. An original Mini CQC-8 (Now called the Horseman), an Mini A-100, CQC-7A, and a Mini Roadhouse. I have all satin/stonewashed blades with plain edges. I paid in the low $100's for each of mine.
My only cons are the latest prices, a warranty fee, and some of Emersons blogs.
