I Give, You Give! Winner Drawn!! See Page 7!!

Very cool idea for a GAW Charlie  I'd like to nominate Prester John Prester John , as I enjoy his photos and he has an amazing number of posts in his time here. There are so many others that deserve a nomination, so I went to the what are you totin' today thread and went through a bunch of pages looking for candidates. Kind of random and spur of the moment decision making, but there we are.
Very kind of you, sir. Thank you!

I'm not a porch regular, so I don't know if I qualify to nominate, but if so I nominate r8shell r8shell as a member I know and admire.

I nominate r8shell r8shell . I don't know her personally, but she's been quite involved here on BF Traditionals and I know she (like many here) has been having a difficult time getting hands on new GECs lately.

Definitely Rachel r8shell r8shell who restored my faith in humanity a couple of years ago.
Rachel paid for my BF membership. This kind gesture for me at a time of loss and great personal unhappiness. Thanks again Rachel and good luck.😊
Cheers Charlie.
Thanks, fellows. As they say: it's an honor to be nominated.

Great giveaway, Charlie. My vote goes to Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund . Always a positive presence on the porch.

Thanks Charlie, I’ve been absent from this forum(traditionals) for a while because I’ve just kind of fell out of love with them, especially because GECs are so hard to get now. But I would love to nominate Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery because he got me back into picking up my last couple of traditionals, and because he is just all around a great person and a great friend. Plus he crafts some very nice sheaths for us for our cherished traditional knives!

I haven't been around much, but if I count, please put a vote on my man Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery for his overall positive and helpful presence!

Thank you gentlemen, it sure is a beautiful knife.

For my nomination, if accepted, would be for CelloDan CelloDan
I have been a recipient of his kindness and he has been welcoming since I first started frequenting the traditional forum.

Yes it's a giveaway, along with confirming a rumor!! Bill ran out of Cocobola for the #14s, so made some Soupbone, Tom's Back, Barlows to fill in the last couple of dozen for my knife order!! Please don't write, they are gone!!
But since there were so few, I decided to stage a GIVEAWAY!!!
This is a reference GA!! You must qualify - lots of past participation - and you must propose another qualifying member!! 3 YEARS a MEMBER, and 50+ posts for both of you!!!
Write a brief paragraph to make your case for the deserving member!! Or confirm someone else's proposal!!! Don't be shy!!
Monday or Tuesday I will call an end and make a short list, and put the post numbers in a hat!!
"She Who Finds Knives" will draw one!!
The prize!! Bill did a great job!!View attachment 1828692

I would like to nominate Old Engineer. Harry is a long time collector of fine traditional knives. I thoroughly enjoyed many conversations with him about knives while sitting on the front porch at GEC. He is gracious in sharing his wisdom.

I’d like to reciprocate Jake’s nomination, and nominate Jsega51 Jsega51 , in turn, for this awesome giveaway, Charlie! He was one of the first members I connected with here, and helped me find my bearings, taking the time to answer my noob questions. I don’t think Jake participates in the scrambles these days, but he still appreciates, and uses, the GECs that are “easy to get.”
I also owe this Bloodwood 85 to him!

I appreciate the noms!

Man, I really don't know who to single out. So many giving and caring members, it's a shame to place one above another, as we all contribute to the "Porch". Without intending to offend other deserving members, I would nominate JohnDF JohnDF . As others have mentioned, he participates in almost every way imaginable, whether through answering questions, commenting, or his GAWs.

Thanks Charlie for another fun and interesting GAW.
