Yep that's right. Nothing from SMKW, just PayPal. I'm with JV3, there needs to be some shipping refunded back if they have not mailed out yet. Oh well, it's my own fault. I already knew SMKW sucked and I gave them my business anyway. I want my tweener but there are worse things to get worked up about.
 
that's the different between a ship date, and expediting... a painful lesson from many ePrey merchants. if they ship weekly, it really doesn't matter how much you paid to ship NOW, they ship when they ship.

i always fight for my money back in such cases where they do not ship in a tidy fashion.

I used the order number they gave me in the second email, went to the site and tracked it through them. They SMKW gave me my tracking number.

From the sounds of it, they never received an order number at all.

that's correct, i have one e-mail from pay-pal for the transaction id...no e-mail or anything at all from smkw.
edit: that's $23.98 for shipping.
 
Wonder if its a pay pal thing somehow. I ordered Sunday morning with a credit card, payed a little extra for 3-5 day shipping. Got an email pretty quick confirming my order with a tracking number that didn't work until this afternoon but now says its scheduled to be here by Thursday.
 
This clock has just returned from vacation and found this. Could have paid for a new necker for the shipping but alas made the jump anyway.

Ouch. I used PayPal as well with no isues this far.

I would also be asking for the difference between $5 shipping and the express shipping
 
I've checked two of my three orders, two were placed right after one another, the other just the other night. One order has a tracking # and the other goes to a blank ups page. Maybe they combined em? Says 3.4 lbs. I have a Thursday eta. I'll call them if I have issues, but I figure they are busy enough.

I haven't ordered from SMK before so I printed the page with the order number. It tracked from that. I never got an email aside from Paypal. The other online shops I frequent excel in email communications. Not a deal breaker but good to know for future purchases. *my opinion is only based on these three transactions I have had with them*

On a side note, that laser engraving looks bright, anyone think/know that would darken up with some gun blue? My first one is a user out of the box. Bought the second to keep clean, cuz that makes the most sense :D

i found this on their website:

Express Orders ordered after 11 A.M. will NOT ship until next business day. Express orders placed on Friday after 11 A.M. will not ship until the following Monday. Shipping on Saturday is not available.

i ordered last friday, around 10:30 pm...hopefully mine shipped out on monday too or they better give me a partial refund.

okay, i looked again and it worked! :foot: for those that only received an e-mail from pay-pal, look for Invoice ID: xxxxxxxx and paste that 8-digit # in http://www.smkw.com/webapp/eCommerce/Order.do?action=trackUPSOrder then you'll get the ups page with tracking info.
 
Mine looks like it's in Orlando already :D I might get mine a lot sooner than 7-10 days, but I'm not complaining. So, who else likes living within a days drive (straight through) of Knoxville?

The one thing I don't like is the bonkers shipping charge without the code.... If it didn't have Mr. Becker's signature, I wouldn't have even thought about buying this one, I would have gotten an 11 and waited for the production models.

i just want to show off to the esee folks my 4" blade with no choil asap :p a lot of people have been asking for an esee-4 without it for years now and we just got ignored. i'm going to rub it in at the beckerhead/rat pack camp out! hehehe.
 
Well in light of the theft of my debit number I sent them an email asking if the payment went through and apparently it did but I thought I would post up their response to those who have questions about getting an invoice from them directly.

I do show the order went through. With using Paypal, you will only receive a receipt from Paypal. On their receipt, it shows an "Invoice ID", this number is also our order number. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused.
