Weird, mine says 1.70 lbs and is just the 16. Did you do the promo code for the shipping with the free folder or whatever?
 
Silver ordered mine for me. so i don't have tracking but thats OK its like a surprise knife.

Nope, no extra knife.

Maybe they threw a few extra packing peanuts in mine..... or they were weighed on different scales that weren't calibrated?
 
So this is a little off from the current topic of shipping weight, and I'll admit that I might be late on this, but I really can't get over how ugly those brown handles are...

Does any one else agree with me?
 
Just ordered another BK 16, one to use and one for show.

I was bummed a little when I heard that the saber grind was changed to a full flat grind but in the long run it worked out.

Now I need the Machax.

I used to work in shipping and receiving... a different box can make a half-pound or so difference, and sometimes people just guess the weight if the scales are being used and they need to ship something out quickly.

I also tried the gold10 $5 shipping code and it said it expired?

Maybe I put it in the wrong place.

Unfortunately the GOLD10S code was to expire yesterday 3/12/12.

On the note of the handles, these FPR tweeners do come with both the brown and black right?
