I just received a small sebbie.... I don't get it.

The Sebenza is MUCH more refined than the pm. You can feel the build quality when you open and close it. Sebenzas are not for everyone, but give it time and report back to us in a few months

What's with this logic stuff man?!:D:thumbup:

I learned those thoughts at the Treatment facility. You and I are going to be opening one up together.. Remember our conversation.. :)

I am not even thinking about CRK anymore.. it is part of my 10 step program..

I'm severly limiting my purchasing(not by choice)but I've got CRK on the brain. Gifted a couple, but man, pics and posts and sales....goodness, guess I'm a non participation addict these days?...:D Being broke goes a long way towards thinning the madness. One small Annual and two small plain jane 21's. That's it, all I got. My how far I've come!

They aren't for everyone. Good thing is it can be sold for a minimal loss. It's like a nice pair of leather boots. Most people can tell the quality is there but not everyone wants to wear expensive boots :)

You say its hype at the end of your post("I do not see or feel the hype"). That is clearly not true. As I said in this thread I like both, and gave the reason why both are priced at what they should be.
Read more about what some have said, like people that understand, or Sal Glesser, and Bob Dozier, if you won't believe us. I can understand if you don't like them, but to call it hype is wrong. Inform yourself.

One guy in your thread isn't even allowed to post here anymore because of his trolling in this room. BF administrators has told him he can't.
Nothing wrong if you don't like them though, but hope you understand why they cost what they do.

There are a few good post in that thread though. The one below is my favorite.

Thanks! I agree, but I miss my other drool worthy Sebs I've let go of during bouts of impulse decision making. Three Sebs are better than no Sebs, but man. Maybe I'm just feelin' blue tonight :p If only you people made the same stupid choices I've made I'd still have some beauts left!!!:D

If it were true you wouldn't be coming to the CRK room:p

Lets not tell him either that a Harley is merely a $20,000 Sebenza. In other words, just another way of distracting his conscious mind from the cauldron of angst that resides within each of our subconscious minds. Thats the whole point of buying these Man Toys.

Sounds like you really need a new Sebenza for Christmas!
Do it ! Good excuse as any:D

I won't deny that you've had some droolworthy Sebs in the past, I'm the custodian of one of those beauties. But you always traded toward what you really want. Now you have a couple of users, and a beauty that shares an important birth year. That doesn't sound so bad to me.

You know, your absolutely right. Felt a little whiney typing what I typed. Glad I've had what I've had and grateful to own what I still do....just need a few more:p

I'm glad that sucker got a good home!

We always need a few more, never enough. But do we have the one that reaches that special place for us. I'll bet that little annual does, and this one does for me.

My 25 is coming today. I'm waiting for a small 25 to release. I want to get a small 21 again. Out of the $2000 worth of knives I've purchased and sold in the last 6 months. Guess what....I miss and regret selling my small 21. It was perfect. So smooth. There's nothing like the smooth hydraulic opening of a Sebenza. The first time you hear it.. You get it. And when you close it and hear that other click with the perfect detent...It finally all makes sense. I've had customs and others. The quality is perfect. People make the mistake of comparing it to their $50-$200 knife. You have to compare what are getting with everything $350 and up. Then there is a reason. Good or bad. Sold my 25. Get it? But I'd still love an M390 Para2. Have you viewed John Grimsmo's scales? Sending funds for my new small 21......now! Wish me luck River! :(

You want something to chuckle about? A few nights ago I was digging through my safe and foinf, guess what..., a Small that I'd completely forgotten about even buying. :o

Maybe I need to clean my safe more often! :D :D :D

I just pulled the trigger. These two small SEB threads brought me back to reality. I was on the fence! You lose a SEB it's like the movie Taken. You fight and get her back! I do miss having a para2. Would like Sprint run. Look at how those sell for a hundred or so more once flipped. Not worth it. Yet, worth it to some. It comes down to what do you like? And what are you willing to pay?
