Here's the only keeper we put in the boat yesterday.
My buddy caught it. Hid step dad is a part time guide on the columbia.
He's been cleaning sturgeon with a USMC Ka-bar for years. I thought that was cool.
Overall, it was a very fun day on the river.

All these pics and no info. That looks to me like a sturgeon. If that's the case, I hope it was a female. There eggs are more sought after as far as caviar than the russian baluga. How did you catch it? I assume its snagging season?

Any of you leather guys do any wax hardening? I've been experimenting on some of my sheaths and a holster I just made, and it does a good job of stiffening it up and making it water resistant. Now I'm trying to figure out why everyone doesn't do it.

On the show "eureka" season 1 episode 7 at about 19 minutes in, the main guy uses a bk2 to get an ear out of a tree.

It looks like a Camillus bk2... but there is no pommel? at least i didn't see it.....

Funny thing though... he asks the girl for a knife and she has like 3 on her.... 1 is a bk2.... He ought to be ashamed of himself having to ask that chick.

Picked up a couple Camillus Beckers today...
Got a very good deal on them.
Ive always wanted a Camillus Niner. The extra thickness is noticable. I like it!
The choil on the 7 looks a little funky but it feels very comfortable and usable.

Now im PISSED!!! they cancelled the show, "the finder" and the way they did it!!!! i loved the entire season, watched the last episode and was like WTF.... then i googled and found it was cancelled....
The fact Michael Clarke Duncan passed away didn't help..... it would of been real hard to replace his spot..... But id love to see a show with the main guy from the finder and the main guy from psych! id never stop laughing!!!

Eureka was a good show. Life was a good show. Firefly was a good show. The main character in Life carried a Spyderco Police fully serrated. Jayne carried a BFK on Firefly.

So I have this neighbor that is retired airforce and is a cop, he's a really nice guy a bit arrogant at times but really cool, they invited some of us neighbors to their daughters graduation BBQ party next door.... I took my garbage out the night before and woke up the next day to dump some left over stuff, there was a huge black garbage bag in my garbage can, I ripped it open and all the party plates and cups were in there... He did ask to dump his garbage in my can... So after realizing that he had doing this every week, I have been getting up and checking my can after placing it outside for pick up... He's been putting his garbage in our can every single time... He didn't ask or never even mentioned it... Now should I say something to him? Should I just leave it alone?

He has these two vehicles with expired 5 year plates from Oregon, they barley run and alternates them to go to work but when he doesn't drive one of them it is parked in front of our house weeks at a time, they have 6 cars total and we live in a round court. All of the other neighbors are constantly fighting for parking because of him. They even use thier other next door neighbors driveway to park one of there cars..

Its like he doesn't care about anybody else around him but he gets pissed when we all take up "his" parking areas. I don't want to start anything with this guy but he is starting to make me stress just a bit.

I have so many issues where i live it's not even funny....I approach every situation the same... By trying to talk it out with them first.....

Id say talk with the guy about the situation, then if that doesn't work, do what i did a few months ago in the same situation almost. the house across the street here doesn't have a trash can so they throw there trash with everyone elses... normally i don't care, trash is trash and its going to the same place... but a couple weeks ago they literally threw the trash all over the sidewalk next to my house, making it appear i was a dirty SOB... which im not..... they are.... I knocked and asked them to pick it up.... when they refused i threw every piece on there porch....


Taking advice from me isn't really advised though.... I have ended up in jail on more than 1 account due to "neighbors"


But the problem i was having with the dog barking has came to a complete stop!!!!! Thanks to a damn dog whistle that i had no faith in when i bought it, the first whistle i got was junk and did nothing to the dog but this one works! but it was 20 bucks too.... worth it to me since the thing works every single time i blow the whistle the dog stops barking... a couple times i had to blow the whistle 2 times but the dog always stop barking.... And i blow the whistle from my living room and it still works on the dog next door!!!

So thankful for the whistle lmao, me and the wife have it hanging on the wall for easy access

The main character has a new show out this fall that might be ok, if its written well. It's based in the army and he's got to keep his two goof off brothers in line, so they don't get kicked out. Of course, the genius writing behind The Finder is Hart Hansen and he's not writing that new show.
