I like a snark in a short skirt and a looong jacket!

Nice, DH! We're looking at a Watchguard XTM515 to replace our Barracuda Web and Spam filters in one unit. I'm still looking at it thinking it's too good to be true.

On a personal note, my BCUSA 10x7 tarp came in today. I'm pretty thrilled and might have to get a hang in this weekend for a nice test run.
You should go get the rustoleum hyrdobolic spray for your tarp and tell us how it works out.

Just got to work for today. Big cup of coffee and 2 cute nurses later I'm reminded why I like my job.

I sense an inside joke here...maybe my sarcasm meter is set too high...who knows. I plan on testing it with no sealer, then I'll probably reseal the seams every season after.

Oh, and nice perk.

Actually, no. No sarcasm. I wonder how it actually works so I was saying you should try it and report back with your findings.

Had a blast with my boy camping, showed him how to sling shot, make a fire and use a knife fun times!

This is awesomesauce! Making a fire is always fun, and using a knife is a good time as well. Camping just is the icing on the stripper cake!

I received Matt Tacketts giveaway knife last night. Sweet blade.
Its size is very similar to the BK16. Nice "all around" size.
Pics tonight!

So, tonight I'm making supper. I am making a ny strip steak, with potatoes and asparagus. Now the question, loaded mashed potatoes or cheese fries.

i say cheese fries but those will glog an artery lol but wtf who wants too live forever right?

I am trying to decide... Mashed potatoes is a LOT easier and honestly it is probably tastier. I have some GOOD bacon, not Benton bacon, but still damn good bacon! And I got some good cheese, not good for a cheese sauce. But still good cheese.

The other thing, I can go grill outside (almost 100º outside) or I can use my grill pan inside where it is a LOVELY 68º.

So, I'm looking at a second murse. I found a new one I'm kind liking.

oh and just because I loves this knife

I ordered a strap and stuffed for my Maxpedition. I'll see how I like it (try it for a week or two) and see. The UTG does seem slightly bigger than the maxpedition. Which means I can carry some other stuff instead of what I have now.

And on an unrelated note: I put some green liners on my BK16

Just had a moonshine margarita with brisket rub instead of salt.

Cut a few down, showed my son how to use a sling shot and had a block of wood to target practice, we drank a six pack of root beer by the fire and he says this is awesome! Then as I was packing up today he asked me when we were having boys only camping again... I told him soon! Man I never thought having a son and having someone always watching me do little bushcrafting and copying me, would make me feel so proud! I got this little tingle inside that I have never felt before.

good to see you guys in text... :) Hope all is well on your side of the fence, I've been buried in work and slowly but surely making up to the surface..... little breath....of air......

if any of you guys have trees you need to prune up high let me just throw out the "Corona" pole pruner, MAN this thing is a BEAST....!!! being cutlery nuts thought you'd enjoy, I will be doing a review of it soon as I can find more air... 16' green one you find at slows has a monster razor sharp saw that I used to limb trees 18' up around 4" in diameter... super easy
