I like a snark in a short skirt and a looong jacket!

Actually, no. No sarcasm. I wonder how it actually works so I was saying you should try it and report back with your findings.

OK, so I found what you were talking about. It's called Rustoleum Never Wet and it's a partnership with that company that put the video out where their stuff was applied and absolutely nothing sticks to the surface. So, I went to Home Depot and found where they have it...all out. They said it sold FAST. I might try Farm & Fleet and Walmart later today to see if I can find some. It's a 2 step spray system and I'm thinking it will be awesome for tarps, rainflys, and tents. I might even hit my hunting and hiking boots with it.

So, I'm looking at a second murse.

Picked this one up yesterday. Of course you know, "dark earth" is the "in" color for summer. OD is so last month. I'm thinking of having Under Armour make me some shoes to match.

Ran down to Ft Campbell yesterday to pick up a liner for a field jacket and came home with some other goodies. Three watertight plano boxes, a canteen carrier for my Blackhawk patrol pack, a couple of Italian utensil kits, a FAK bag and a new murse.

When I got home this bushcrafter from Matt Tackett was in the mailbox.

It was the bestest day in the history of ever. :D

Looks like a great day, Trade! I was just looking at those 5.11 bags at Gander Mountain yesterday. They're very well built. I'm just trying to decide which one will work best for me before I pick one up. The biggest thing is that I like to take my camera with me everywhere I go, and it's a space-hog. Canon EOS 7D w/24-105 lens or 70-200. If I want to go compact, I'll pop on the 50mm and call it a day.

A 5D with a 24-105 fits in it (with some padding) with quite a bit of room left.

Nice score tw.

Had a storm roll through about 5:30ish this morning. Power was out, no biggie. Around 9, I took a rather large branch that was in the front yard to the back, to discover that the wire going from the pole to the house was down. Power was just now restored.

Admit it. You bought it just to match your Beckerhead patch. :D

WorldWood is a hell of a guy, I bought a couple knives off him and he threw in a lifetime supply of plastic shopping bags!

thanks man :p

The tornado siren went off last night at my parents' last night. Nothing touched down but it was a little scary.
I guess that's what I get for giving DJ a hard time the other day.:D

I can't believe the contrast in weather compared to last year.

It is crazy. The electric dude was complaining because it started raining a bit, but I was telling him how much better it was than last year. I think I mowed twice last year. Yard was brown all summer.

I have a nice brisket marinating in the fridge right now. Can't wait to get home and fire up the egg.

How does the egg do for those, DJ? I've been contemplating getting one for a while, even though my WSM does a grea job. More rack space never hurt!

That piece of wood on Matts knife looks incredible! Good score Trade.

Speaking of knives (since that's why were here) did you ever get a chance to play with those saw blade knives?

Cruising into the home stretch. Just cranked out a roughly 1500-mile road trip with one murse and two rambunctious children, one of them gassy. It was survival at its finest! Let's see Bear what's-his-name top that. Dude would have been in a fetal position before he hit Virginia.

We visited Charlottesville, Monticello, Jamestown, colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Asheville. And Lord knows how many restrooms in between.
