Damn shelties, anoying dogs.My wife had a Shelty when we first got married. I hated that thing and it hated me. It grew an attitude after my son was born that I couldn't beat out of it. As soon as he started crawling she started snapping at him. One day I let it out in the yard to go... and it just stood there and looked at me. For 5min I sat there and watched it and it watched me. Then when I called her back into the house, she promptly went upstairs and did her business in front of my chair. She ended up staring down the barrel of my shotgun after that. My wife persuaded me to not make more of a mess by splattering that dog across my living room. She then found it a new home the next day.
This boxer however is my buddies. Roxy is her name and she is amazing. We were dog sitters while my buddy was moving. I told him if she didn't work out with him we would always take her.

I understand, especially when you like to plink like me and my buddy.
Tula and Wolf for 7.62 x 39, and 223 lol.
You can always get surplus but .308 is still pricey. When I hold an AK in my hands, I get feels I don't understand.
I have a Saiga AK in .308. That stuff is twice as expensive.
Thanksone of a few.
Which reminds me... one of these weekends I need to get out to put some lead down range. Its been a few weeks. Only so much practice one can get without actually pulling the trigger.
Today me and my buddy are taking out the Mauser in 8mm!!
Such a fun loud rifle.
My brother in-law does. The photo was taken the day he got it. Before adding the Millett scope

You need to try it with some hand loads12 guage 3.5 inch magnums have approx 38lbs of recoil kickback. The .338 hand loaded to max (safe) chamber pressure has about 48lbs of recoil kickback. Meanwhile a 300 grain bullet loaded to subsonic has the kickback of a .22 because the gun weighs so much haha
How far are you from the Niagra boarder?
