Neko passed out on top of his buffalo bone :D

He is hilarious, i tried to move it because he looked uncomfortable and he gave me this crazy look and went right back to sleep on it the same way.

When I get home from work I'll post a picture of my battle buddy, here's a crappy quality shot of me and him.
50% pitbull, 50% boxer, 110% dumb goofball.
I'm trying to relax then this idiot boy is all hur dur.

Boxers are one of my favorite breeds, love their energy. Mix breeds a lot of times make the best pets too, its almost like they take the best characteristics of each breed and the less favorable characteristics are left out.

Once i get down to Florida ill have me another dog, a bigger one, quite possibly a boxer or boxer mix. I had a boxer and lab mix at one point and he was quite possibly the smartest dog i ever had and had all the energy of the boxer, he was awesome.

He thinks at his age being 7 and weighing 85 pounds that he's a hyper active lap dog.
He sleeps not with me, or next to me, but ON me every night.
Takes me like 6 minutes to get up since he's holding me down and I'm too tired to get him off LOL.

Yea thats one thing about my pup, he is not a lap dog, doesnt like to sit on people at all. He will sleep next to me on the floor but thats it.

I took a little nap earlier for an hour on the couch and tried to get him to lay down on the couch with me and it wasnt happening. Id pick him up and set him next to me and he'd jump right off and lay down on the floor beside the couch.

Sometimes i wish he would sit on my lap or curl up for a nap with me, but thats not the type of dog he is at all, and i knew that about the breed before i got him. But still i love my dog and want him to occasionally curl up with me LOL But he does stay next to me about 24/7 and loves for me to pet him and he gives me bunches of hugs and kisses, as long as i dont try and hold him or set him on my lap he is good to go LOL


His name fits him well :)

Lucky you, he jumps in my lap when I don't want him to and I can never get him to leave my side LOL!
My dumb mut is named Nelson, which is my middle name but he came with that name.

Shiba Inu's are a Japanese breed and my pup's name is Neko, which is Japanese for cat,... Yep, a dog named cat. Fits his personality great too.

Nice mini vacation Tackett


Last night was awesome. After I got out my 2 I gathered up the wood from the garage. Got the fire bowl out for the back yard and went to work. Made a fire and sat down and started splitting up some more wood for next time. My father in-law popped by to see the kids and sat and enjoyed the fire with us. We let it die down a bit when we had to put the kids to bed. After the kids went to bed I made me a rum and coke, grabbed me some smoke and snacks, and tossed feather sticks and more wood onto the coals. Fire perked right back up and the wife joined me out side. I then opened the hot tub and jumped in for a dip. With the fire going beside it was relaxing. Then I hopped out finished my drink, had my smoke, relaxed for an hour or so and went to bed.

I neeeded that. Awesome relaxing night.

I love mine too but damn he drives me nuts haha!
So find any good places yet for us to go camping the 12th-14th? Gotta head back for the 15th for AM shift though.
