I owe a lot of money to a loan snark!

Yeah, we're pretty into it. The first thing to keep in mind is... relax. Don't over-think it. KISS. This stuff grows in dirt and loves cowshit... how hard can it be?

This is good advice and realization. My wife and I have a garden every year and, it was easy to do. Keeping the weeds out is the biggest problem because we don't use herbicides or pesticides. Basically we just cleared a section of grass from the backyard, threw down some potting soil and some seed. Win.

Wood,

TDOT has nothing to do with drivers licenses. Even if they had access to that info, they probably couldnt give out any information.

You need to contact TD department of public safety. Surcharges are handled by a different department as well.

Check this site:

http://www.dps.texas.gov/DriverLicense/customer_service/

It has links and info. You may be able find a way to calculate your old Tx DL number. You can for a Florida DL as well as a few other states.

Good luck

Doc

Thanks again Doc.

Well i was able to find an old paper in my files with my old license number, and followed that link and found the site that showed me the fees and let me pay.

A nice punch to the balls. 320 dollars. At least its done.

Now i still have to call and find out if i have a warrant, hopefully since i paid all the fees it should just sort itself out....

Damn, this has been a good day.... Went out to play in the woods in our Jeeps with my old man earlier. Just got in from a small bonfire with my best friends. Drinking beer, catching up and playing with knives and fire. Good evening.

I got my BK11 back from one of my buddies too... I missed it, but I let him borrow it to see if he liked carrying a small fixed blade. He does - big surprise. Sounds like he'll be ordering a BK14 ASAP.... Even though he was drooling over my Magua quite a bit. I did do one bad thing though.... The same buddy produced his F.I.L's Junglas he brought over for show and tell. I wanted one before, but now I really want one.

Are any of you guys familiar with Damon Lansky of Alfa Knives?
He apprenticed under Dylan Fletcher and they worked out of the same shop as Andy Roy.
He's got his own subforum in the hosted knifemakers forums.
His stuff looks great!
He's sending us a blade to play with out at Beckerwest.
I couldn't wait, so I placed an order for this knife pictured at the bottom.

Those thick liners look sahweet. I was debating on doing something like a 1/8" liner in a bright color with 3/8" green canvas Micarta for full size Becker scales.

You ordered one? Lucky dawg you. I might put an Alfa on my list after I get my TM Hunt.

yeah, he does really good work.

Fletcher makes a nice product as well. very nice. i coveted one of his NFS blades. didn't have enough money, cuz someone "convinced him" :D

as well, FiddleBack. have some early work. his latest stuff is great, but again, funds. chainsaws and tractors are more my immediate needs.

Those lansky's are sweet, and the size is right up my alley. I was surprised how popular black-over-green is, but have come to like it too.

Dang them looks nice.

Another "storm of the century" on the way today. Ice, sleet, snow, brimstone, frogs, giant waves, meteors, I forget what all. We are getting thunder sleet though and that's a first in my memory.

Damon is a really cool dude. I met him at Blade last year, he spent quite a bit of time at my table. The kid is a sponge for knowledge. I think that's why his knives look so good considering he's only been making them for a couple of years. Really neat guy and really cool knives.

We were supposed to get 6-9 inches of snow, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Was all north of us last night, and south of us now. We got a dusting overnight is all. Looks like we could get a bit more perhaps. We'll see.

That Lansky blade on the bottom is sick. Someone posted up his work a few days ago. Really nice.

WW, I see your cute pup pic and raise you one Lol, last night I was working in the shop, suddenly the door opened and this is what walked in. Apparently, my daughter thought she would get Sophie ready for the coming storm.:p

Haha that's great, Todd! Happy looking pup.
I tell you what... The drive back to Indy sucked this morning. Especially when I got to Todd's neck of the woods and it was still raining while the interstate was nothing but a sheet of ice.

Thats awesome man, Sophie looks ready!!!

And she is growing QUICK.

I have been taking pictures here and there since i got my pup, and i dont notice any difference in Kiba until i look at the pictures. Im guessing its because i see him all the time i dont notice just how much he is growing. Soon as i look at the beginning and end pictures its a little more apparent though.

With Sophie i dont see her near as often, so when i do see the pictures it looks like she doubled in size....

I remember this picture a few months ago, now look at the top!! Almost looks like a different dog!! ( im not a stalker, i just typed TMHUNT sophie in google image and found the pics for better explanation :D )
