Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Don't try anything too steep though, those touring 'yaks pick up speed fast and are a little hard to control. A "wet exit" in snow is....not really wet. Maybe wear a helmet.Break out the 'yaks and slide some hills.
Sounds like you did impale yourself.....
Pics, or it didn't happen.
Well, I didn't quite get into my guts, so it doesn't count.
Warning!!!!
Mildly gross fat guy photo ahead!!!!

Don't be jealous of my shower curtain.![]()
The bruise was a lot cooler a couple days after it happened...
Ill get some pics up later on, but I just got the custom Giedymin made me and let me tell you this thing is CRAZY awesome and insanely sharp. This is one BIG badass chopper.
I love it, it looks great and feels excellent in hand. This guy knows what he is doing. Great communication and works FAST. Started knife first week of February and shipped it on the last week and i got it today from Poland. 1 month turn around for it to be in my hands from across the world.
Couldn't be happier... Well i guess i could be if i ordered it with a sheath LOL
Got a question, what's a good kabar for a new deputy? My neighbor just got hired at the sheriff's dept.

Well glad to know you did not technically/completely impale yourself! However, now you have to share what happened! You cant just say, "I almost impaled myself at work" and then just leave it at that!![]()
I work at a weld shop/farm equipment manufacturer and a few times a year, we have some pretty big stuff come through. The job I was on uses a crane to rotate the fixture, and we put a big T-handle pin, made from 1 inch stock, in it to keep it from moving while we weld it. Well, as I was jigging up the fixture, I leaned over a little too far and fell off what I was standing on and onto that pin. It didn't bleed too much, but it is strange to look down and see a bunch of fatty tissue/meat.
So one of the first responders looked at it and took me to the er. Ended up with a ct scan and 5 stitches in my gut. As I was leaving, I asked if I could see the photos from the ct scan. It is pretty damn crazy to see a gaping hole in my abdomen. They told me that I was about a centimeter away from going through my abdominal wall and into my guts.
BK-24 imho, easy to carry on a duty belt, and not a "Big Scary Knife"
Will a teklok fit on a duty belt? I'm gonna assume yes.
