...to a bottle born in 2010 and finished in 2016. You were 27.
How the hell you lasted so long, I have no clue. I am grateful to have known and drunk you!
You will be missed :(

I have had easily 500 different types of scotches, but I don't think I have had that one. But that looks DEEEELISH!!!!

real nice. To be honest that picture looks professionally done. Good job. Looks like something off an advertising page. You take good pictures.

Here is one that I have a hard time saying good bye to. I am saving the last bit for a special evening. A week ago, my and a buddy went through half this bottle. I am guessing it will be finished by next month.

Great pic. Never tasted the 21, but Balvenie 15 may be my personal favorite all around scotch. This bottle is left over from my wedding last year and there is one sip left that I haven't been ready to part with. Also last week a couple friends and I went through a bottle of the Balvenie Doublewood 12 which is incredibly smooth.

I've got a couple of bottles on the shelf that I know I cannot replace.. Always makes me sad to end one of the better ones.

That badger though..

There are bottles I have not opened for that reason.

Never look back....

Seriously though. I don't think I've ever had a fifth last more than a week.

There are bottles of Scotch that you can't replace? Then drink it as soon as possible with friends or family you can't replace.

An edit is in order. NEVER waste your "good stuff" on someone who does not appreciate it.

Fer instance. I love an occasional Scotch that is heavy on Peat and Smoke and Leather and Licorice and Wood and......My brother hates it. He gets the Dewars.

Finished an 18 years Glenlivet a couple of weeks back. Celebrating a workmate's retirement. Got about 10 oz drunk out of a bottle of Knob creek bourbon that I just opened..... No regrets!

Disclaimer: Plzz dont Hate....
Hypothetically speaking, say someone never tried Scotch, where would one buy a high end Scotch ? Do they carry it at a Liquor Store ? Also a few Brands, suggestions would by Hypothetically Aprecciated lol

Depends on the store... and depends on what you call high end... and depends on your tastes... scotches from different regions are going to taste different--I've gone from highland scotches to Islay (and all in between) and discovered that simple 10 year old Laphroaig is my go to scotch. There are much more exclusive, rare, more expensive, etc.. but you have to find what does it for you... trying them all, as well as US whiskeys, bourbons, etc... well, that's the fun.

Look, we all need to make a pilgrimage to Cobalt's... ;)

You hear us knockin!

Agreed. I'm fairly new at this. Just last year, I couldn't stand a scotch that tasted of peat moss.... Now, I love it out of a smooth scotch. I recently tasted a few bourbons.... Liked them very much. Just had Knob creek for the very first time, today. Love it!

Try some drinks that are made with whiskey or bourbon. See how you like those. I love boiler makers. Red or dark beer with Jameson whiskey. Nothin' fancy but sooo good once you've got the proportion figured out. Started drinking "old fashioned" this summer. Love 'em! Try as many as you can.... You've got quite a variety of scotch, whisky, and bourbon out there....

Cheers!
