It's intentionally destroying the knife. Warranty doesn't cover it. So go ahead. Some guy bought an iPad just to destroy it too, just have a high speed camera on it so you've not wasted the opportunity![]()
Well, some SOG knife (I'm not sure, was it Super Bowie or something like that?) has been shot 7 times with a .45 ACP non-jaketed bullets with no damage to the blade. That's what SOG have in their logo today.
Now average muzzle energy of .45 ACP is 456 J [416 fp], whereas .50 BMG has avg. muzzle energy 15.037 J [11.091 fp] (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muzzle_energy).
So the question is, is INFI about 30 times stronger than AUS8 that SOG use? And we are still talking non-jacketed bullet!
i can not agree with you man.
angle is important factor here , if the bullet was not right ahead crash into the blade , the blade will broken .![]()
should i see what happens when i do this? um, imo no.
do you think any value of the knife would be lost if i do this? Lol!!! yes.
i know you guys would like to see this, as it is not your knife, but what do you think? kind of, but it feels a bit like watching "jackass". or has someone done this already with any kind of rifle to a busse? yes, sort of.
jerry, does your warranty cover this? Lol!!! i doubt it.
Yes a .50 BMG round will kill any Busse with no problem.
