Dang, looks like it's time to do a random act of kindness and buy your friend a new Soddy; should run you less than $20.00 delivered if you know which web store to go to.;)

I don't have any yellow but I do have this pic to share....View attachment 415334View attachment 415335 The knife belongs to a friend of mine. He pulled it out of his pocket one day and I couldn't believe how used it was. So, I had to get a pic of it.

Wow! Are you kidding? That's an amazing example of an EDC if there ever was one LOL. How long has he had it? I'd be curious to know as it's seen a TON of use.

My yeller Soddie will be here on Friday in fact and it's my FIRST yellow and also my first SodBuster, so very excited to experience this classic working man's knife.

I'm really enjoying the Frontier Pix...thank you edbeau!!!!!

Btw, got one coming based on your posts!!! :)

I have a few Frontiers but not every model, yet. They are well made knives that were for the most part made by Camillus.

I love Yeller knives, there, I said it, and I'm glad!

In addition to my Soddie Jr., I also have two Modern Yellers....
Spyderco Dragonfly Salt and Spyderhawk Salt, both in H-1 steel (but enough about them, back to the Yeller Soddie Jr.)

It amazes me how brutally sharp my SBJ is, today, while cutting up a Cara Cara orange for a snack at work, I realized I was draw-cutting the orange, and easily able to create gossamer slices of orange that were possibly only a few electrons thick....okay, so I exaggerate a little, they were closer to a couple cells thi...okay, let's be honest, they were about the thickness of two credit cards side by side...

I was *draw cutting* through an orange with barely any resistance, smooth, effortless cuts, any other times, I always used a *slight* saw motion, not this time! the SBJ was truly Scary Sharp....

The combination of that thin grind, and CV steel is amazing

I think the next Yeller to add to the collection will be a CV Peanut, a CV SBJ and CV 'nut would be a great combo....

.....Must...resist....urge....to....sell....off....my....stainless....knives....

I like Yellow Delrin on my Imperial Frontiers.

Yellow guy with friends

I've got one of the black delrin ones in the mail, should be here next week (seller messed up the shipping a little haha)...has a little pitting but the blades are full, this makes me even more excited!
