Not necessarily. There are many ways that thieves offload goods. Go to your nearest cop shop and talk to the detectives that deal with thieves.

I don't think a "Con" would screw some people and not others. I've recieved over $2,000 in 2-knife transactions from her shipped from Israel -> USA before I was even obligated to pay for them.... How many people(sellers) would do that in their right mind..

I'd be real curious to see how you can enjoy the knives you purchase from someone who has ripped off the knife community or at least is working with someone who has done so.:rolleyes:

Gus, you owe no apology to anyone. It is ann_dem, who conned so many good people, that owes the apology. In fact, a confession to Israeli police would be a good start.

And that is exactly what you did in this thread acted on heresay and assumptions when you posted. This thread was an apology on my part for recommending Ann/Vlad.


I feel that some folks were made comfortable in dealing with her afterward(my rec.). That is not a good thing at all. These folks now have knives in their collections that came from a rotten source that has stolen from people I know and I have have helped them profit from those actions. This is not something I can take lightly at all.

Gig and I got together today on the phone after he had compiled everything. I banned her and then posted this apology.

That is why I was so pissed off at you. Your initial post and subsequent post stating that you read the threads and did not see it made light of what I consider to be a serious problem I was a part of.
