Idea: Becker Forum Scales

Do you like the idea of a special Becker forum scales?

Yeah the divot isn't necessary but nether is the BH#

It would be a nice little easy addition to a special project.

Well, I just got around to using some micarta blocks I had left over for bow drills, the only thing that I think works better for a bearing block, is deer antler. You can really build up some speed with both.

The markings, I could take or leave, but its a good concept, and one that I think will work.

Here's my Aye. I'd be in for five sets for original Becker handles or three sets for Tweener handles.

Someone with more free time than me want to try to reach out individually to each and every Beckerhead to get them to post in this thread if they're interested?

Could also just the BH# on one side and then a divot on the other. That is also something that could be done on both tweeners and fullsize. One thing that could be neat would be if we could get some factory tweener micarta done this way before the factory micarta hits the streets.
 
I already contacted Kabar this morning, in regards to finding out how hard this would be and timeline. Still waiting for the answer.

With some luck, I'll hear back soon about the doablility of this project. Of all the ones we've come up with, this one I think will be the easiest and fastest.

Once we make it to preorders, that will tell us and Kabar, how serious we are about this.

Well, more than likely, what will happen, is I will buy the handles from Kabar etched. Then, I will make Ethan put the bow drill divot on them, in his shop. Make his ass work some. :D

Plus, it has the added feature that Ethan himself will have put your bow drill divot on it. :D

Price for these will be, 1 Million Dollars!!!!

Oh crap, at that price, I'm out as well :(.

Seriously though, the last few weeks have been pretty pricey for me (unexpected new set of tires :(), so this might depend a bit on pricing and timing. This month I'm pretty tapped out already, but maybe in a month or so I'll be fine.

Also, it would be my first piece modded by Ethan :).

Should we make a new thread, and poll to see how many people would buy out final design or keep the one going we have?

It would be a month or two before we are even ready to go for it. So, you got time.

And I reduced the price.

2 for $1,000,000.00
