If SHTF...

I think I'm with Andy on the pics maybe we should just do pics to keep things realistic. And to increase the awesome factor exponentially.

2 Camp Tramp, Bandicoot
1 Glock 19
1 Saiga 7.62x39 (only mod is it takes AK mags)

.22 LR savage arms or 12 ga. I'm thinking the .22 would be the best for hunting small game

Sig p226, personal protection. It's the best pistol I've ever used and 9mm is everywhere plus 20 red mags

BHK highlander. Such a versatile knife. It's the best one I own and I own a ton. 90 degree spine and full flat grind

Big Chris Pukkoo. Super thin in 10v for fine tasks and filleting.

- BWM
-- Great chopper and overall camp knife

- Scrapper 4
-- Perfect for small tasks and rust resistant INFI

- Ruger Security Six .357
-- I like the reliability of a wheel gun and the variable ammo selection of .357 or .38

- AK-47
-- Reliable, reliable, reliable. Runs dirty. Makes a helluva club when need be.

*uploading pics tonight

Not that I've though about this any... :p

Short Butaniku
FBM
Springfield 1911 TRP
Bushmaster M4 w/ACOG

Then I would debate not grabbing the HK91 and Glock, because its easier to scavenge 5.56 and 9mm. :D

This is a fun exercise. Of course, I'd have to take a pistol and rifle and two knives for me, and the wife gets her share of guns and knives, and realistically, I would likely hand my older son son a .22 ruger pistol and rifle. The younger is only 6, so though he can shoot with close supervision, I'm probably not saddling him with gear like that.

Honestly, I would likely not go far. My house is three down from my older brother and I like all my neighbors but one. Or two. We live on a double dead end cultivar. Only place I would go is over to my dad's, about 3 Mike's away. He has a more defensible home, and more guns and generator and wood stove. I've got food, Coleman stove, fuel for that, gravity fed filter, etc.

I'd take my kzII, and Rattle Hawk. My Glock 22 and an Bushmaster AR. (I would give the AR to the wife, but it is a heavy dissapator model, and that's too much to saddle her with)

I might give the wife my M1 carbine and AMT .30 carbine pistol. But she might be better suited with the model 66 in .357

Truth be told, she shoots the .30 carbine pistol better than she does the Glock.

If the youngest was a bit older, he'd get the ruger .22 pistol and 10-22, then the middle bought could carry the .30 M1 carbine, then the wife could carry the pump shotgun,

It's all so confusing!

Part of my problem, really, is that I don't have a FAL, or ar10.

I don't have a larger caliber hunting gun. Of course, I can borrow those from dad.

SHF emergency Mellon testing.....

Well I don't have any semi auto rifles like an AR or AK. I've wanted one for years but the knife buying bug got to me. I got one long rifle for hunting, a Ruger Mark VII .470. I should invest in a better scope for it then the one it has currently. My uncle has a SKS and a couple Mosin Nagants with bayonets and the full kit. We all plan on bunkering down at his place out in the boonies in case of any unfortunate events. The place is stocked quite well. I think I'll look for a rifle in .308, perhaps a SCAR or FAL.

Basic 8, Ratmandu
CZ SP-01
Any of various ARs (14.5 barrel pref) with Aimpoint
Bring it!

Being that you have an AR, when you say "bring it" I assume you mean "Bring it closer" .....right?
totally joking :)

All i need is my TGLB... Woodhouse style haha

Archer_Woodhouse_300x184.jpg

I would end up trading the pistol and extra knife, just need two rifles and one knife

1. My Colt AR-15 with optic or my AK - plus lots of 30 rnd mags
2. My 22 cal semi-auto rifle with optic; I consider the .22 cal to be the ultimate survival weapon because two people can easily carry several thousand rounds of ammo
3. Ratweiler

1) kabar combat kukri
2) crkt sakimori
3) cz 75 sp-01 in 9mm (18+1 so nice high capacity, super accurate and very reliable)
4) AR15 with aimpoint red dot + flip over 3x magnifier

Easy.
Knives: Busse AK47 and HUCK
Handgun: Glock G34/suppressed
Rifle: AR SBR/suppressed.

I have all of the above, but the HUCK.

Hmm TG and SOB for me. I don't own guns but given the choice I'll stick to what I have shot before, m9 (although 1911 would be a really nice choice) and m700.
