  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

If you carry the same knife daily, what is it?

When I put my pants on, a Leatherman Wave is clipped into the right front pocket with my keys in the left front and wallet in the left rear.

That constitutes my every day going out the front door kit.
What do you do when you don't put your pants on?

A small knife is enough 99% of the time.
I found this out in the last year, after carrying an edc in the 3.5 to 4 inch range my entire life. Now I still rotate a larger knife among a half dozen current favorites for my "main" edc. But ,for the last year or more, I drop a 3 inch Holdout in the bottom of my pocket every day to use for routine tasks. This takes care of 98% of my needs vey well. Excellent little user.

Some change ups if I need a multitool or the like, but 28+ days out of any month I'm carrying this Opinel in a pocket sheath. I have it perfectly tuned: It flicks open and closed one handed, locks with a roll of my thumb, and cuts like a scalpel. As a N°10, its blade is 10cm, or about 4".
