If you could only have 1 folding knife...

Not my Pic, But I do have the Knife:)

LOL. I remember those. The closest thing to that I own is an AirSOG.

It'd be a toss up between

- Spyderco Military in dark green with 204p steel
- Cold Steel 4" Talwar in XHP / Recon 1 spear point in XHP
- Spyderco Pacific Salt

If I could only have 1 folder, I would have 1-thousand!

If I could only keep one out of all my current collection, I would choose my 5.11 s30v karambit because I could pair it with a fixed blade and the hawkbill curved blade adds more versatility (and I own everything else that would come with a sak/multitool).

If it was any one including what I don't own, idk? Tough call, right now olamic wayfarer is high on my radar.

Spydiechef. It is quite simple and solid.
Otherwise, PM2 or Southard Tolk.

i usually interpret these threads as implying a selection from what you currently own. i've gone extended time with each of these as my only blade and i never felt under-knifed:

benchmade 710
spyderco gb1
ag russell acies 1

Out of the many knives I own, the one that finds itself carried more than any other is my Sypderco PM2 in S110V. Spyderco's S110V has spoiled me on other steels; It just keeps going and going... It may be the perfect pocket knife! As much as I love my frame locks, the PM2 just inspires confidence, plus it's light.

I thought about this question a few months ago. I don't carry it often, but if I was limited to only one for all tasks there's no doubt in my mind it would be this:

I think the 'Zaan could do it all and do it well.
I'm not sure if it's my favorite, but it probably is my best knife

For my everyday life, there is absolutely nothing better than my Spyderco Delica in ZDP-189 (I choose this over my $400-$500 knives to carry everyday). If it were the Zombie Apocalypse/Madd Maxx type of year I was looking at, probably the new Cold Steel SR1 or CRK Large 21 or Umnumzaan.
