If you could only have one

I'll bring them over next week for you to stare at.

If I get to chop something up with that gorgeous production Duke you have.

ill send you my production Duke if you wanna bang on something for awhile

You're too good to me. But I have no space left on my dresser! It may be time to buy a toolbox like Andy has and keep all my knives in it

Three votes so far for the handyman. I'm really liking the coffeebag 1/8" scandyman at bladeco.

No, no, no! You only get ONE. Hahaha!

Have you posted a picture of all 6?! I'd love to see the PK collection.

Here is my pk/was/esquire drawer

Nice drawer.

I really like the wrapped W.A. Surls oatmeal piece, as well as the scandi green esquire.

Thanks... the green esquire I looked at like 20 times on the outpost so I knew I had to have it... and that baby tatanka is a great one... too bad I didn't wait a week I could have had and all black one that looked amazing... in fact... hold my beer I'll see if I can snag it hahah

Edit: nope still gotta be on restriction hahah

I'd say 1/8 TT Bushfinger would be my go-to.....

Wait, what I meant to say was 3/32" Bush Hermit in Rosewood. Come to think of it, just like the one you just put that nice edge on for me, Jarrett ;)

I'm mostly sure that I don't yet own the one, if I had to have only one to carry...But in my humble group my 01 Shank with natural scales and od green bolsters has earned her keep as a butchering tool [27 whole chickens quartered and BBQued for a huge feast in the Ottawa Valley]. Of course I had Jarrett put a righteous edge on it. Love the feel in my hand when I'm using it. Going to take it camping this weekend...Yes there's big chunks of animal protein involved!

I get way too much pleasure out of the way that oily Rosewood lights up in the sun.

That's great, man! Send it back to me and i'll touch it up for you.

how am i supposed to know which one is the one unless i try all of them!?!?! <insert maniacal laughter here> :D

i have tried the hiking buddy, EDC II and the ED Karda. the ED Karda was the winner of the 3, but the blade was just a bit too short. so, i went back to that comparison thread to see what else is similar. needless to say, i have a Shank coming any time now. i also have a KE Bushie coming that i will pick up from a member later. i realize that is different than the EDK, but it is one that i have always wanted to try.

there are still a couple others i would like to try (bearcub and gaucho currently top that list, i think).

when i get the new ones, i will report back.

(this was all just my long way of subscribing to this thread ;) )

EDIT: I have tried the bushfinger, recluse and kephart years ago. i think i may also revisit the BF and especially the kephart....i remember liking that one the best of those 3 (even though i wanted to like the BF the best).

It will have to be my very first fiddleback 1/8" 01 Bushcrafter with cherry crotchwood. There are times I wish the handle was a little thicker like my other Bushcrafter, but it's still an awesome knife. I love how non threatening it looks and the knife is just so versatile. And the handle material is possibly my favorite ever
