Voted for the Izula, I have an RC-3 and RC-4 as well, but i've grown fond and somewhat attached to the Izula!

Great thread! This type of thread gives us some insight as to what the user is wanting and helps us to tailor our new product more towards demand.

Thanks,

Jeff

I picked the izula because its my edc however if I was to just take one blade in the woods it would be my rc4 love that knife

I gota say the Izula, because it goes with me everywher, and gets things done on a daily basis, yet is also good for must camping and backpacking task. Girlfriend has the RC3, but keeps it in her blackhawk bag that she calls a purse, or as close as she will ever come to owning a purse. I had a CRKT Dogfish for a couple years, then sold it because it was to small and couldn't hold an edge for shit. Now I just carry my Izula and Larue Dillo:D

Hmm.

I carry the Izula the most, followed by the RC3.

Still, if I HAD to choose one, I think I would go with the RC4. Perfect size for compromise.

RC4, hard to beat for me, BUT IMO the Izula should be a part of any & all other RC knives. IMO, any RC knife coupled w/an Izula makes for the perfect team combo, and the pair is hard to beat out in the woods. I always thought it too bad RC didn't make combo knife pkgs with the Izula and another RC knife (kinda like what Becker did). Whats Batman w/out Robin, or Tom w/out Jerry, or Jack w/out Daniels...

I have or have owned plenty of swamprats, scrappers, busses and khuks, but only one R.A.T,the RC-5,so that is what i have gone with. However this thread has confirmed what i already suspected...i need an RC-4!

I would have to say RC-3 mil.

but i would not like being limited to only one knife, to me it makes the same logic as going to repair a car with only a cresent wrench.

If I could only carry one knife, it would be the RAT-3.

From what I have seen and read, that would do the trick for skinning, small bushcrafting, personal defence, etc.

I voted for the RC-6. Izula is carried more often, but the RC-6 is more versatile. I have folders for the small jobs the Izula does, but the hard jobs the RC-6 does better than the Izula. Ergo, number 6.

I voted the RC6, but I tend to like larger blades then I actuly need. I can do smaller chores with a larger blade, but its hard to do bigger chores with a small blade.

IZULA! i'm a big fan of short blades. I can carry it basically everywhere, in everything i wear!
RC-3 will be my second choice. I'm kind of sold after watching the heat treated video.

:pI'm gonna have to change my answer to the 6....just so i can lop off the hands of whoever it is trying to take my other rat knifes....:p
