it is my only RAT blade (for the time being), and it's size makes it the ideal survival blade (the one I have with me at the time - I edc it so I have it on me any given time).

I voted for the RC-5 because this is the one i had in a passaround and i liked it a lot. the rc4 i hold from another person and found it a bit small for my hands. I know the 5 is not a knife you use as a edc but i like haevy knives, i would like to try the rc6 but i don't know if i ever can without selling one.

When i visited a dutch forummember i hold his izula and i also liked it small but sturdie.

I have an Izual and an RC-4 but I had to vote for the 3. I figure if I only had one it should be the one in between.

I'd pick the 3. If its more than the 3 can handle, I'd probably prefer and axe or saw rather than a bigger knife

Voted for the izula, I also have a 3, but if I had to pick only one, it would have been the izula, to pair with my khuck, to get by, however, I love them both! but for day trips, the 3 would be fine soloing (with my powerlock, opinel, grip.....)

I was trying to decide whether I like the RPK or the RC-4, and after a lot of deliberation, I think the RC-4 fits me better because I can do more stuff with it.

I voted for the H.E.S.T. just because i can see myself EDC'ing it every day. The RC-4 is way to big and would scare everyone up in the great white north.

If there was a H.E.S.T./RC-4 hybrid it would be the jack of all trades for me. The 4-5 inches range is the perfect blade size to accommodate any task.
