RC-4 was my choice.

I haven't had a chance to use my 6 yet, I've only batoned with my 5, the Izula is very nice for it's size and I don't have a 3 yet................until my forum knife gets here.

I voted RC-3. my izula probably gets the most work of them (I own izula and RC-3mil, for now) but if i only could have one i would go with the RC-3 so it's easier to do some a little bigger tasks, but still small enough to do the fine things.

Until the Imacasa RAT machete comes out, I'd have to go with the 3.

Izula is one of the best designed compact little big knife i have had the pleasure to work with. I received an RC4 yesterday and will be receiving an RC6 today and i am sure they will rock.... did some prelim testing with the RC4 and it meets and exceeds expectations. It's just that the Izula is so frequently used and is the size that 99% of my folders have been put away.

Having said that i am in the market for a machete and i am not considering the Imacasa machete for 2 reasons.

First is they are not made in the U.S.A. if you tell me the heat treat will be done by RAT/ Rowen here than maybe we have a deal :thumbup:

Reason # 2 is that in anothe thread the warranty was not yet squared away. A Rat not made in the U.S. and not having lifetime warranty (speculation) is not a Rat.

I mean this with respect as i am extremely fond of the Rats and forewent a custom blade just to get 2 more.

Up until this week, I only owned one Rat, the RC-4. I've just recently backed it up with an Izula. I'm sure it won't end there.

RC-4, received mine yesterday...I put it through its paces already by batoning a bunch of wood because my father in-law didn't have his hatchet. I also received my Izula, thats a great little knife, but my RC-4 is my edc blade.
